Comments about Kurgo Collaps-A-Bowl:
When I initially looked at this bowl online, I was concerned that the bottom or the rim would be stiff, so that it would fold nicely, but it wouldn't roll up, bend, or squash for more flexible packing. Once I saw one in the store though, I realized that the whole thing is soft, squishy silicone, and you can easily fold it flat and then roll it up into a shape that will fit nicely into a water-bottle pocket on a bag. Only 4 stars though because, as another reviewer said, there's no easy way to carry this on the outside of a pack. If this bowl had a hole in one lip for a lanyard or carabiner, then I'd give it a perfect score.

Comments about Kurgo Collaps-A-Bowl:
This bowl worked great for taking our dog hiking, camping, swimming, really for any outdoor activity. It's light and collapses to maybe 3/4 inch thick, so it's easy to pack into any side pocket of your bag. Worked great for both feeding and watering. The rubberized material also keeps it from sliding around on rocks or gravel.
It will eventually start to rip at the folds, though, at which point it becomes worthless. It took less than 10 minutes from when I first noticed the hole until the entire bottom came off, while it just sat in my pack!
A great product, but it's the nature of the beast to break (folds are a weak point on any material), and it happened sooner than I expected it to. Spend your money on something more durable.

Comments about Kurgo Collaps-A-Bowl:
The only bad thing I can say about this bowl so far is that it is a bit heavy for backpacking, but I am not the one who has to carry it, the dog does, haha.

Comments about Kurgo Collaps-A-Bowl:
I have a very large mixed breed dog who is very active and we also travel with him. This bowl is excellent for both uses. He prefers it to the Guyot squishy bowl even though that has a larger opening - I think the narrow to wide shape is better for getting to all the food versus the Guyot which had a lip that hangs over a bit.
One HUGE improvement would be a hole for a clip so that you could just clip it to your pack/ belt loop etc. instead of having to pack it
