I use this for my work lunch. It has a front pocket and a place for 2 drinks on the outside. While it doesnt fit large containers, I still like it because I work construction and dont want to carry around a big bulky bag.

Been Rocking this 2 years now. holds lunch and snacks, plus some bars or chocolate and my silverware. Its light, fits anywhere and it stays cold for a long time. LOVE IT!!! Thanks REI!!

We have the OLD STYLE of this particular bag and it is GREAT! it has pockets on the side, a small pocket in the back, a larger pocket in the front and velcro straps that will adhere to the back of the bag to make it smaller for storage.

well...we got it a little too close to the campfire and a spark burned the top. now it is no longer able to be used for the kid's lunch bag. I went to
ReI for another.

I ended up buying this NEW design b/c that is all they had available in this size. it is horrible!! no padded handle like the last one. Smaller front pocket, no pocket at all on the back, and the thing my 6 year old commented on is that there is now no place for a drink.

Bad design choice REI!! Just Bad! We will be returning it. It was overpriced and I could get the same thing at a big box store for much less. I wanted the same thing you had last year. Very unimpressed.

I was excited to receive this bag and was disappointed that it was so tiny! I cannot even fit any of my tupperware in it because it is short and narrow. I can fit in 1 banana, half a small sandwich and smoosh in a couple crackers at the most in this bag. This may be good for someone to carry a snack in if you were in elementary school, but not a decent meal. If the bag were bigger, I would be happy because I like the green color and it seems durable. When I received it, the interior lining was very bulgy and did not lay flat...I tried pressing it down but it did not remedy it 100%. Not sure if others have this issue...
