Comments about REI Camp Pack-N-Prep Tote/Table:
I Purchased the "Camp and Prep Tote" over a year ago and it's my main camp item I bring whether I'm camping on the 4X4 trail or in the RV at a lake. I'm able to keep all of my kitchen and eating utensils along with flashlights, coffee maker, and Dutch Oven all in one convenient bag. I used to keep all the items this contains in separate boxes and bags. Now everything is in one location that can easily be carried and organized. The table is also useful with the only downfall that it's almost impossible to level on uneven ground. This item in my opinion is very high quality and I've taken it and abused it several times and so far it's been holding up great. If you were like me and wanted a way to organize your camp gear in one convenient package this is the way to go.

Comments about REI Camp Pack-N-Prep Tote/Table:
We purchased this last summer and used it a few times. We love it. It has a lot of compartments which helps us to stay organized. We camp with our 3 younger daughters (now ages 12, 10 and 7). Our girls were able to find what they needed easily. The zippers open nicely and everything packs up easily. We are glad we bought this.

Comments about REI Camp Pack-N-Prep Tote/Table:
This thing is amazing! My boyfriend and I bought it last year, and he said it eas the best camping purchase we made to make things easier. We have a two room tent so we use this as a storage and table to play games or anything we need a table for. It beats playing board games on the air mattress, too wobbly. The setup is easy and in less than 5 minutes you can figure out how the table goes on the storage unit. It is easier to setup the table on it than alone due to height restrictions. The towel rack is a great feature. We use the stoarge unit to store games, what we need to pack for our hiking trip, midnite snacks, and important setup tent tools. It comes with storage on all 3 sides of the unit and at the back is the table storage. It is great to have especially on days when it it raining and you need a dry surface and dry items.

Love this thing. It fits everything you need for a grab & go camping kitchen, minus your cold foods. I even put a 2.5 gal H20 jug in there.
The metal frame for the table keeps it sturdy. I just wish it was easier to stack in the car with the rest of your gear. The combo of soft bag with rigid frame means it sometimes doesn't fit with stacking your cooler/gear/other bags/etc...

Comments about REI Camp Pack-N-Prep Tote/Table:
I have to agree with most of the other reviewers on the main pros and cons.
PROS: Lots of PROs! Great organizers, pockets, etc. It holds much more than I thought it would. We combined two other bins into this one. Usually I'm digging through bins to find the smaller items like the can opener or spices, but this time it was all right there.
Easy to pack and convert to the tabletop at the campground too.
CONS: The table top was wide enough, but could be a few inches longer to more easily accomodate a camp stove/grill's propane bottle too. A Minor CON, but hopefully REI will fix on the next generation of this item.
Suggestion for those using it, cut a plastic or vinyl tablecloth down to size over the tabletop. Then any spills won't leak through the slots and onto (or into) the fabric tote below.

Comments about REI Camp Pack-N-Prep Tote/Table:
I am an avid organizer. Camping is fun and relaxing if you can keep it easy and organized. This pack is perfect for all your kitchen needs. It even hold my Colman stove perfectly. My Primus stove does not fit flat, but I can angle it to have everything in one place. This makes packing the car and unloading at the campsite so much easier. Not to mention finding things while cooking. I place my griddle and coffee pot in here with the stove also. This also helps to keep my camp kitchen dust free and together for storage at home. Keeping me ready for the next trip!
The only negative is that the table needs to be wider to accommodate the propane for the stoves. You can make it work with careful balancing/positioning. Also, a flexible cord that allows for the propane to sit on the ground vs. the table is helpful.

Comments about REI Camp Pack-N-Prep Tote/Table:
Everything about this set up is fabulous. The versatility in its use for sporting events, beach use, chilling out in the front yard or going camping for weeks at a time it has paid for itself in the many different events we've used it. Where ever we go with it there is surely to have someone ask where we got it. The only thing that I could even muster up a complaint about is the papertowel holder. The holder needs to be a bit more sturdy where you put the roll and put it back to hold, other than that i've referred it to everyone as a must have.

Helps organize everything you need for your camp kitchen very well and provides extra counter space.
Would be cool if there was a matching ice chest set up exactly the same way.
Only marked "bulky" as a "con" beucase I'm short and it's shape is hard for me to carry, however, if it was any smaller it wouldn't do the awesome job I love it for... it just means my husband has to move it for me when its full.
Locking wheels might be nice.

Comments about REI Camp Pack-N-Prep Tote/Table:
This is a perfect pack with table top for those going for a weekend or longer tent camping trip at one site. There is ample storage for all of your dry food as well as cookware. The paper towel hanger on the outside is handy as well. It is meant to be stationary and wouldn't be something that you would want to move around if you were backcountry camping.
