I needed to find midlevel water proof lightweight shoes. I purchased on Friday and after three days, I could not wear the shoes after 1 mile. I needed to find a pair of shoes that I will be wearing for 37 days of walking (pilgrimage Camino de Santiago in Spain). So I returned the shoes and exchanged for Saloman. I believe it is my feet, not the shoes. Needed the room around my toes.

I have been wanting to purchase a hiking book that was waterproof and my size. I was looking for something comfortable and most importantly light and not heavy. I found it with the Merrell Moab! I wore them a few times just to break them in to go to store, and I finally wore them on a hike of 6 miles, and I didn't get any soreness nor blisters. It is by far my best purchase yet! Will most likely purchase another!

My goal was to find a boot which remained reasonably comfortable through many hours of hiking on and off trail. To make this boot work for me, I used Super Feet for arch support and chose a half size larger to accommodate the sock and insoles. The result has been comfortable boots from the get-go, with no blisters. The waterproofness is an added bonus.

My first hike with these was a 9 mile, 1900ft ascent/descent. I brought my old boots to change into, but I never needed to change! These were comfortable from the start, no blisters, no rub spots, no tight spots. I love these boots!

I bought them in-store, and the clerk (Ann Marie) was incredibly patient and helpful. She made sure I tried on numerous different styles & brands, and offered GREAT advice.

I love these boots - they fit straight out of the box, and for me at least, the original insoles they come with felt better than my Superfeet insoles (which I used and liked in my old boots). I hiked in these for about a week when they were brand new and they treated me great. The only con I marked is that they can be a bit slippery on certain surfaces (e.g., concrete) but they do fine on actual rocks and mud etc.

I used these boots on my trip to Argentina. We were traveling to the rain forest, the glaciers, and the city. I wore my Merrells in the rain forest, on the glaciers, and on the plane when we traveled to each site (so I didn't have to pack them!). The boots were great in all terrains. They were comfortable, sturdy, and supportive. I highly recommend them!
