Comments about Brooks PureCadence Road-Running Shoes - Women's:
great for running. I used these for my first half marathon and the training prior to the event. The only problem that I had with them is that the tongue seems to fall down when I'm running, and the heel breaks down to quick, hence i got injured. =( other than that, fantastic shoe, plus I was able to use my own inserts for arch support. I was told by the Brooks Rep the newer revised version should be out in January 2013! so i'm waiting patiently!

Comments about Brooks PureCadence Road-Running Shoes - Women's:
Avid runner (~25 mi/wk) with low volume feet. People with wide feet probably won't like them and they probably run a bit short. The wide lacing helps them fit me. They have generous toe room and just the right minimal heel height. Cushioning is excellent. I'm pretty sure they will wear out quickly, but that's a small price to pay for such comfortable running shoes.

Comments about Brooks PureCadence Road-Running Shoes - Women's:
These are my first foray into the 'natural' style of running shoes. I wear orthotics and have been hesitant. Reading that these will accept orthotics I jumped in. THey are a little snug around the forefoot, but adjusting the laces a bit helped. These things are so light they make me want to run. The experience is awesome. I love these. I am noticing the bottoms are starting to wear already after a few months. This is my 4th pair of brooks and they all have super soft rubber. I guess it's just a Brooks trait. It's a bit hard to swallow with the price, but these are a really nice pair of shoes. One other thing - they are like a sponge. Walking in wet grass, my feet get soaked in about 10 mins. I'd love to see a trail running version of this with some water resistance.

These are great. I replaced a pair of Asics with them and now I know what I have been missing. Super comfortable!

I am a college soccer player and run around 6 miles a day to stay in shape. These shoes helped fix a nasty, three-month case of shin splints within a couple weeks of purchasing them. They are lightweight and fit like a glove. I love how they cushion, while still enabling me to feel the surface I am running on. With the elastic band to support my arch, I don't have to wear bulky orthodics. Not to mention, I get tons of compliments on how they look while walking around campus as well as jealous stares from my fellow athletes! I have run through my first pair and purchasing a second!! (and maybe a back up)

These are really fun shoes that are great for minimal training to strengthen your feet and joints as well as for races and everyday wear. The only problem I had was that I needed insoles due to my high arches, but other than that these are a favorite. :)

Have been running for 30 years and tried every brand on the market. PureCadence fit well out of the box, no purchasing expensive insoles. They surround your foot with cushion, the heel is designed with a curve to strike first. The insole fits in your arch as it should. Other shoes feel like you are wearing a box, Brooks PureCadence feels like they were designed for your foot. Purchased 1st pair in December 2011 them, just purchased 2nd pair. They make running fun!!

Comments about Brooks PureCadence Road-Running Shoes - Women's:
The issue with these shoes is the placement of the external elastic band that is supposed to be located right near your arch. If you do not have the "perfect" foot, this band will become very painful. You can't adjust the bands tightness. And as it wears down, it becomes useless. But until then, it is a horrible feeling.
I tried 3 sizes and found that the 10.5 placed the band in a good spot on my foot - but left me about 2" of space at the toe.
Not very well thought out and a little gimiccky.

Comments about Brooks PureCadence Road-Running Shoes - Women's:
I have narrow feet, size 11, I'm not tall, and I have some arch issues and on occasion heel soreness. I wanted a pretty shoe, other than black in color, and this really surprised me by how comfortable and beautiful it is. The colors I chose were the pure cadence, the aqua blue with green. This fits well in my wardrobe. The extra room in the front for toe space was a nice bonus. I can feel the ground, but not the impact directly. They are easy to get in and out of, and really mold around the foot giving great support. Awesome shoes!!
