These are great shoes! Since I got these, my IT band pain has dissipated. They're sturdy without being over-correcting, and don't hold you back when you run. Another great perk is how stylish and bright they are...I am happy every time I put them on! Asics makes great shoes, and these are no letdown.

Comments about ASICS GT-2170 Road-Running Shoes - Women's:

I'd never run in Asics before and recently decided I needed a bit more stability than my neutral Brooks for my long runs. The 2170s are great - light, comfortable, wide enough for long runs and the perfect amount of stability. I've only hit about 100 miles in these, but I haven't had a single twinge in my IT bands or any kind of ankle pain. At this rate, I'd be comfortable wearing these for daily running, a 10k or half marathon (though I might wear something a little lighter for a quick 5k race). Great job, Asics.
