      We purchased multiple pairs for a group of 7th Grade kids to go hiking in. The XL and L fit different shaped/height kids both male and female. Kids were all comfortable enough that they chose to wear them all day, kept out wind and a full day of rain and light snow. As a family we also use these backpacking, lightweight and small to carry and definitely keep you dry.
