The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS Heart Rate Monitor - Women's:
I am currently training for a 10k. Before buying the Garmin 210, I ran without anything; no watch, heart rate monitor, or gps. I wanted to knock down both my 5k and 10k times so I decided to on getting a watch. The Garmin 210 was the perfect buy for me. Having never even used a watch while running, I wanted something that was easy to use but would also helps me track my progress. So far the Garmin 210 has been perfect for my goals. I have not had any problems with setting up the heart rate monitor or satellites. I love that I can set up intervals and heart rate alerts. Having the pace, mileage and time right at my wrist has been a huge help. The ability to upload and view the stats from runs has been extremely helpful, especially the ability to compare different runs with one another.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS Heart Rate Monitor - Women's:
I use my garmin to track my running workouts, particularly while I was training for the Austin half marathon. I love being able to get both heart rate and distance/pacing readings from it while I'm running. Uploading my workouts into garminconnect is the easiest user friendly software and allows me to see a map view of my run, my pace, and mile breaks. I don't use the footpod because I hate the treadmill. I did a lot of research beforehand and saw that there were concerns with spikes on the HR reading for the model, I have only had this problem occasionally and I don't really rely on HR accuracy to track my workouts as I do pace, time and distance.
I especially love this design as opposed to the 610 because it is less rigid than the forerunner 610 on my smallish wrist. I've also used it for hiking, which is great to see elevation changes and overall just fun. Two cons: 1) the heart rate strap chaffed me during my longer runs so I used climbing tape on the edges to keep it from doing this and 2) I swam with this product within the <1m depth, <30minutes in water and water DID get inside so I had to exchange it. Luckily, REI is awesome. Also, I don't mind the color much but I wish you could get the white/teal with the heart rate as a complete package instead of having to buy it individually.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS Heart Rate Monitor - Women's:
I bought this because I'm training for my first marathon. It picks up satellite reception very easily, and has been very reliable in tracking my distance, mileage, and pace for training. The only feature I wish it had was a way to show "current" pace, not just pace on the current mile, but that's really not absolutely necessary.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS Heart Rate Monitor - Women's:
I wanted a watch to better track my distance, pace, and training effort (heart rate) when running. Since I run on trails, it is often difficult to map your route or calculate your distance. This watch has it all! It tracks your route, distance, speed, heart rate, as well as calories burned. I recently used the interval feature on the watch and was very pleased with the results. Setup what you want for your intervals, if you have a WU/CD and push start. Then when you're done with your workout, plug it into your computer and upload your training with a click of a button on Garmin Connect. I couldn't ask for anything more from a watch.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS Heart Rate Monitor - Women's:
Bought this for my wife. She is training for a marathon and needed a method to track her distance. This is an okay product. I say okay because it only works about half the time. When she goes to run even on a beautiful clear Colorado day, the watch may or may not locate the satelite to track her distance. That is frustrating for her because she has to wait several minutes outside before going on her run for the watch to locate satelite if it does at all. I know several times she has waited for it to lock on and doesn't so she ends up running with out it working or being of any use at all......other than to keep time. And if you just need a digital watch you can by one a heck of a lot cheaper......

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS Heart Rate Monitor - Women's:
I bought the Forerunner 210 with the heart rate monitor, when Garmin was offering a $50 cash rebate.
The watch is simple to operate, and way more accurate that the iPod Nike+ system that I had been using. The Forerunner 210 consistently finds satellite within 20-30 seconds and detects the heart rate monitor within 10 seconds.
The watch color is terrific - dark gray with aqua-green color accents – so it doesn't look like a geek watch. The watchband is not replaceable but according to Garmin, the band is supposed to be very durable. The display is clean, simple (I detest digital display clutter) and readable, without needing to squint my eyes. The lighting is bright and uniform.
I use the interval timer daily, which has helped me to reach my weekly performance goals. I can set the running time/distance) and resting time/distance, and the beeping is loud enough so I have no trouble hearing it during my outdoor runs. I like the icon it displays for run vs. rest so I'm never confused which interval I'm doing. The 210 can display average or current pace.
Connecting to my laptop with the USB cable has been straight-forward, so I'm not sure what the fuss is about: The cable snaps on (and this is audible) securely when the 4 pins line up with the 4 contact points of the watch. I've never experienced sudden disconnects when transferring data to my laptop. And uploading the data to the MyGarmin website is way better than uploading to Nike+ website.
I'm very satisfied with the Forerunner 210. I had been putting off buying a GPS watch because I didn't want to wear an oversized calculator on my small wrist (6 inch circumference). The 210 somehow looks slim and it feels light so I don't notice that I'm even wearing it. Highly recommended!

I run in interval mode so this product is great. Previous watch was a Garmin 305. Like this one better because of power save mode and because is fits my wrist. I had no problems with the charger.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS Heart Rate Monitor - Women's:
Purchased this product to aid me in my recent attempts to lead a healthier lifestyle. I was looking for better information about how hard I was working and a way to better track my activities. This Garmin, combined with the optional heart rate monitor and the Garmin Connect website, have helped me do just that, allowing me to better achieve my goals and set realistic targets. I also like the GPS mapping feature, which allows me to track what portions of longer trails I've already hiked.
Service and delivery comments:
Product arrived faster than expected, having been backordered at the time I originally placed the order. Only thing I didn't like was that the Forerunner requires charging before use. Not sure there's really a way to get around that, but I like to be able to play with my new toys right away!
