Rated1out of5byDancing SkeletonfromNot Good In WindI used this tent in the rain it was ok especially for the price. When the strong winds came the poles collapsed and I had to crawl out. Nice space but you can't count on it in all elements.

Rated4out of5byTotalcamperfromThumbs upMy first experience with this tent was with a camping event (Texas Outdoor Family) where they provided these tents to those attending. The original tents they had used before had been destoryed in Bastrop fire and REI donated equipment to the Texas State Parks to replace what was lost. For someone who hadn't been camping for quite a while it was nice that the tent was so easy to set up even with my companion who was completely inexperienced.
That weekend a sudden cold front blew in and the temperature dropped from 80s to nearly freezing and all through the night the winds were really strong. (we checked later that the weather reported the windspeed was 25-35mph with 50mph gusts) The tent held all night without losing any of its shape or the fly. Along with the wind it rained most of the night but we didn't get a drop inside until we opened up the door. The fly unfortunately does not cover the front very well when opened in rain so the inside gets wet then but we didn't experience any sort of water leaking into tent.
The tent it very roomy for 1 or 2 even with air matresses (we pushed them up to the back walls to make a sort of V shaped are between us) and I have no doubt it can fit 3adults comfortably, even 4 without any air matresses but 5 or more and you will be very sung. I dislike changing in tents do to having to always bend over but this one's dome shape allows you to stand upright without hitting your head and plenty of room to move around. However, be warned, it lacks privacy without the fly on. There are large open screens on each side of the tent so if you are changing from the waist up be prepared to give a show since there's no way to cover them without the fly.
Overall I love the design, the coloring, and easy use and after my first experience with this tent I found it on sale and purchased it for my own use and am still pleased. It is still living up to its expectations and I firmly believe it will remain my main tent for years to come.

Rated1out of5byesathrefromDo NOT uy this Tent! This tent looks great for the price, but it is terrible! I used it one time. We took on some pretty heavy rains, so it was a good test for this tent. It did not hold up. It leaked around the seams of the door and the window. It took on condensation. I think it is just a poor design all around. The bottom of the tent sticks out further then the top of the tent. This wouldn't be bad if the rain fly actually stretches out to cover it, but it doesn't. So the door is fully exposed to the elements, which also lets in rain every time you open it. They have a very small overhang above the door, which is maybe 6 inches sticking out of the tent, and it does absolutely nothing. The bottom line is this tent is poorly designed and does not function well. It also has a hexagonal shape, which makes things a bit difficult. I could have gotten over the shape had the design been well thought out.

Rated4out of5bycoastalrobfromGreat for the familyWell, it was time to take our toddling daughter camping. This thing, while a bit of a beast, was perfect for the 3 of us for some solid car camping. It easily fit a queen size air mattress and a pack n play. Really nothing negative to say about this tent.

Rated4out of5byKilianfromExcellent family tentI have used this product 5 times since purchasing it last month, with my two sons and dog. I have to sent up the tent by myself, and my older son (five year old) has assisted me - so it is very easy to assemble.
With the four of us in the tent it does collect a fair amount of condensation, but the design of the tent works well so that it does not drip down on us. The only issue we have had is opening and closing the zipper, it occassional gets caught on the flap material.

Rated4out of5byMidwest MisfitfromSo far so goodI haven't *really* used it yet. The day it came I got excited and decided to see if I really could put it up by myself. I'm a 53-yr-old female and 5'8". I am very independent and do not like to go somewhere by myself and have to ask for help for anything. Well I did it and in about 20 mins start to finish I had a tent on my deck. It was getting a little cloudy so I decided to leave it up and see how it did in the rain. As a concession to the weather I did tie off the two tabs on the rainfly to the deckrails, but otherwise it was on its own. Well the rain ended up being a severe thunderstorm with 60+mph winds and a bit of hail to boot. I watched helplessly as my new tent was rolled over on its side, almost flattned, spit on, kicked, and generally beat to heck. This lasted about 45 mins until I was able to get back out there and take it down. Not a pole was broken or bent, the tiedown tabs held, and all told there was about 2 cups of water in the tent. As it was upside down several times I think I'll forgive it. Can't wait to see what it will handle when staked down!
