Purchased this jacket to supplement an already full closet of jackets because I wanted something that was light but helped to keep me warm on longer runs in 40-50 degree weather. I wore it for a half-marathon in which the starting temp was 45 but by mile 5 was closer to 65. I was able to take the jacket off and fold it up into its own pocket and hold the pouch in my hand as I completed the rest of the race. It dried really quick and was ready to go again after the race when the sun hid behind the clouds and dropped down to 50. There are no hand pockets per se in this coat, but that doesn't bother me too much. Overall I'm very happy with how this jacket performed in my one wearing and hope that it continues to perform as well as it did in it's initial test. I got the XL (i'm 6 ft 2 in) and the sleeve length was great, however, the waist was a little wide and there is no drawstring to speak of to keep the jacket tight against your waist.

Good product, does its job. Wish there were thumb holes, the sleeves are long enough for it. Fit feels a little tight around the elbows- the jacket grabs (while running). Keeps out the wind and good for a run with any weather below 40-50 degrees. Doesn't make you overheat.

After moving to a cooler climate I decided I needed something lightweight that would stop wind and light rain, and this jacket fits the bill. I've worn it out running on a few cool, drizzly and breezy days, and on one cold, snowy day over a fleece and was bordering on too warm. The only problem I have with this jacket is the amount of static electricity I build up putting it on and taking it off. Take care when petting your dog or touching doorknobs.
