Comments about Timex Ironman 50-Lap Sleek Digital Watch - Men's:
I bought this watch as it had the lowest profile of all the watches in the store. I dislike how watches have become so bulky and stick up so much from the wrist. This watch, as it is described, is sleek and fits well close to the wrist.
From day 1 I disliked the way the band that holds the excess strap as I found that more often than not the excess was just flying free and not contained by the strap. But I got used to it and felt that was a fair trade-off for the sleek case I was looking for.
After wearing daily for a year and a half the band broke. There is no way to replace the band on the watch, so it meant purchasing another watch. For my new watch, given what I considered poor lifespan of the watch, I went with a different brand to give that a shot.
Overall, I liked the watch when I had it. For a $60ish dollar watch it works, has good stop watch, timer (with interval functioning), and other normal modes. I just didn't like that the band was not replaceable and therefore the watch had to be thrown away. Perhaps you can return it to Timex for a new band, but I'm guessing the cost would be close to what I just paid for my new watch.

Comments about Timex Ironman 50-Lap Sleek Digital Watch - Men's:
Like another reviewer, I've been wearing Timex Ironman for years as my everyday watch. Over the years, the quality has declined on the less expensive models and several only lasted a year or two.
This time I decided to try one of the more expensive models to see if it would last longer. I chose this one because it was much less bulky than others and I found that the quality is much better. As another reviewer noted the alarm is too short but I don't use it to wake up so that's not an issue for me.
My issue is with the band. I don't know if it's the clasp or the band material or what, but the "tail" of the band won't stay in the retaining loop. Multiple times a day I find it out when it hangs up on something and I have to replace it.
It doesn't happen when I'm running or riding, so as a pure exercise watch, it's probably fine. But it's annoying as an everyday watch.
The clasp is in the middle hole, so I'm thinking I have an average wrist size. It's frustrating enough that I'm considering returning it for something else. Your mileage may vary.

Comments about Timex Ironman 50-Lap Sleek Digital Watch - Men's:
I've been wearing Timex Ironman watches since elementary school, and I've liked every one. Over the years, they've gotten better and better. The last few years though, I used a Casio G'Shock Solar watch which was good as well, though it was much more expensive, much heavier and bulkier and only lasted 5 or 6 years (with repairs). Overall, I'm glad I switched back.
This watch is extremely simple to use, and practical to wear. I love how the Sleek version is lighter and fits closer to the wrist, because it interferes much less with clothing and hand movement. It took me a bit to get used to a plastic band again, but the strap retaining loop works fairly well and keeps the watch streamlined most of the time.
The only gripes I have with this model are that I've had to learn to check the time against other sources and keep it accurate every few months. Also, the face seems to scratch easier than my G'Shock, but visibility isn't affected and I'm much more willing to accept these minor flaws at such a good price!

Comments about Timex Ironman 50-Lap Sleek Digital Watch - Men's:
I bought this watch to train for military training. It's a good watch for that purpose, training or just keeping track of your work outs. If you plan on using the alarm I'll have to warn you its not long enough for my taste. It rings around 2 times, barely wakes me up, and goes of 15 minutes later if you don't get up to turn it off initially. That's not good enough to motivate me to get up because I'm a some what heavy sleeper.
