Comments about REI Kimtah Rain Pants - Women's:
I have used these pants almost everyday of rainy weather since I purchased them for biking, gardening and hiking. I have an hour commute on my bike and they have provided incredible comfort. My legs stay completely dry and warm without getting that clammy feeling that I've notice with a lot of rain gear. I wear them along with ankle high rain boots and a layer underneath, sometimes spandex, sometimes jeans. They're also great for wind protection on a dry windy day.

Comments about REI Kimtah Rain Pants - Women's:
I've tried every pair of rainpants that my local REI has in store. I wear them at work, during long hours in wet conditions in the field. I have the kimtah jacket, which is amazing, but these pants are by far the worst that REI has to offer.
They aren't waterproof. They're barely water resistant. The only redeeming feature to them is that they do seem to vent moisture pretty well; if I get soaked in a short term storm, I dry off pretty quickly afterwards, but I'd like to not get wet in the first place, thanks. The knees, the seat and the ankles are the worst, but these pants really can't hack it, a fact that really confuses me since the jacket is so great.
