Slim-fitting, women-specific design has narrow, short shoulder straps and a short torso length
Aircontact Lite system features padded, contoured shoulder straps and hipbelt with 3D Air mesh lining and a cushioned, breathable back panel with hollow-chamber foam
Forward-pull hipbelt adjustment makes it easy to achieve a snug fit
X-frame with hollow-core aluminum stays transfers load weight to your hips and offers both torsional rigidity and flexibility to follow your body movements

Comments about Deuter ACT Zero 45 + 15 SL Pack - Women's:

I use this for multi-day hike/backpacking. Very well made and everything works like it should. It's almost perfect, but I do have a few tweaks I would make: first, the hole for your water hose is very small and I have to take my mouth piece off to get it through - I'd make it bigger; second, the side pockets are a little inaccessible if you have your bag cinched up.

The bag is so light and such a cool green color. I love the belt and the pouch is perfect for quick access items. The bag extends to allow me to carry plenty of gear for anything I've tackled so far. I have not tried it in the rain, yet. I had a Kelty Coyote 4750 and it was hard to find a bag to replace it, until now. It cut my bag weight by almost 3lbs, which is huge!!

I love REI. You can't beat the service and so far, every employee I've encountered was awesomely cool and very helpful and knowledgeable. I got my order the day they said I would (right on time) and with the return/satisfaction policy - how can you go wrong! Psst.. get a membership, its totally worth it!!

I took this backpack on a little backpacking/camping trip in Shenandoah national park on 4/27, 4/28. I was very satisfied with the bag mainly because it sat on my hips SO GOOD!!! Even though I took it only on a 1 night trip there was so much room in it that I think it would do great on a extended trip. I highly recommend getting this bag, it performed well and it won outside magazines 2011 gear of the year award!
