Comments about Darn Tough Light Hiker Micro Crew Socks - Men's:
Take a look at Patagonia's Common Threads Pledge (quick google search) I feel These socks fall right in line with that pledge. I received two pairs as a Christmas gift and i believe with two more pairs i'm honestly set for life. You can't beat the lifetime guarantee but they are so well made i don't think that won't be much an issue. As a test i wore a pair a week straight with light duty work. No smell, no stretch, all i did was lay them inside out over night. When the weather clear's i have a big hike planned so i will return to comment it's performance then.

Get a few pairs of these socks and you'll never want to wear anything else. They do all the things they say they will. They show very little wear, and fit like new even after more than one time wearing them. I love these socks and recommend them to people whenever I get a chance.

Comments about Darn Tough Light Hiker Micro Crew Socks - Men's:
I bought my first pair of Darn Tough socks 7 years ago. Since then I have bought a couple dozen more pairs in various heights, weights, and colors. They are now the only socks I wear for any purpose.
Hiking, biking, running, skiing, mountaineering, work, travel, leisure - if I have socks on my feet they are these. I have NEVER worn a pair out. Not one pair! I still wear the very first ones, and they show so little wear that I can not distinguish them from any other pair that color.
These thinks are like some sort of super-Merino or something. No residual odor, great temp regulation, great moisture management, stay up perfectly, and very comfy. I wash them in a normal wash cycle and air dry. Otherwise no special care.
Their very best use, in my opinion, is for backpacking. I can bring just two pairs on a trip - one to wear and one to wash/dry. They don't lose their shape, stretch out, stink, or anything else. What more do you need?
