The Eton American Red Cross Axis Self-Powered Safety Hub combines a radio, USB power source, LED flashlight and safety beacon with limitless hand-cranked power.

  • Draw power from 3 sources: rechargeable NiMH battery with aluminum hand crank, AC power (not included) or 3 AAA batteries (sold separately)
  • Radio with digital tuner receives AM, FM and 7 NOAA weather channels
  • Built-in flashlight features 4 bright white LEDs
  • Direct USB power transfer with included USB cable lets you charge up cell phones and other USB-compatible devices
  • 3.5mm headphone output, DC-in, USB charger and AUX-IN input feature rubber gaskets and plugs to help seal out moisture
  • The Eton American Red Cross Axis Self-Powered Safety Hub features a blinking red LED beacon, digital alarm clock and telescoping antenna

        Bought this for my son. He likes it and it works fine. Light is good. For the money, though, it seems very average. Sound quality is not great. Also, he's only had it for a couple weeks and the name Eaton on the handle is already wearing off. No biggie but it goes to quality. Just doesn't seem high quality for the cost - [$]. No way this is a 5 star product at that cost. At $50, it would be a better deal and I'd give it 4 stars.
