      First, I had the wide mouthed version of this bottle. After leaving mine at Windigo on Isle Royale (on the second day of our backpacking trip... ooops), I had to get a replacement. Because I didn't like the large mouth opening of the other bottle, I decided to try this one, and I'm so glad I did!
      Just like the other one there is no plastic taste in the water even on first use, and although I haven't tried any drink tabs in this bottle, it's the same as the other so I know the plastic will hold onto that flavor for about a week - using it every day.

      I bring this bottle wherever I go. It's a great way to make sure I get enough water during the day. I love the "lid leash" because knowing me I WOULD lose the cap without it. It also comes in handy to carry the bottle by, and it's strong enough that it won't break even if the bottle is full. I also loop it around my lunchbox strap to carry it around campus, works great since the bottle itself is pretty big and hard to carry.

      The narrow-mouthed design makes it easy to drink from even while walking, hiking, or driving. The wide-mouthed bottle has a tendency to spill when drinking on the go, and I'm a pretty busy person so stopping every time I want to take a drink doesn't do it for me. (: It doesn't support the attachment for our water filter but just sticking the hose in the opening works just fine and is easy enough.

      This is my second bottle and the first one broke due to circumstances that weren't its fault. My boyfriend left it in his car, full to the brim, overnight... in winter. It froze solid and literally exploded. However before that I had dropped it multiple times, full, on concrete and it survived with only surface damage. I'm confident that these water bottles last just short of forever if not abused.

      I just wish they made this style in that sweet "Spring Green" color!!! I would buy five more. (:

        Use it for everything school, work, and all my hikes. Backpacking. Can also use as self defense when walking in a dark parking lot. Never tried to put hot tea. Suggestions use mainly for water or other flavored drinks is fine.

            Only thing is after years hanging on my backpack filled with water the little plastic hook breaks off that connects it to the bag.
