Comments about Arc'teryx Crosswire Jacket - Men's:
I thought it looked like Luke Skywalker's "Bespin Fatigues" so I had to buy it.

Comments about Arc'teryx Crosswire Jacket - Men's:
I bought this at the members only garage sale at my local REI for [$]. It was essentially brand new. It's an awesome jacket, but I wouldn't have bought it at full price.

Comments about Arc'teryx Crosswire Jacket - Men's:
I wouldn't buy this jacket at full retail price, period. I waited for sale, which of course they were available during off season at local REI (woohoo) The fit was not so great, compare to my technical shells from [@], they are way off, especially the sleeves were too long. The only good thing is, I saved big, so I had it tailored (also dryer helped shrink) Other than that, this is worth [$] that I paid...but not more.

Comments about Arc'teryx Crosswire Jacket - Men's:
I love the way this jacket looks and fits. The arms are a little long but not so much that you're fighting to keep it above your hands. I wear this as a light jacket for work and around town casually. The zipper is very high quality and I like the number of pockets (3/1 is internal). The only thing I don't like is when the jacket is zipped it can be difficult to get into your jean pockets because it has no give to the fabric. You have to hike up the bottom of the jacket to put your hands in your pockets. Overall I'm very satisfied with this jacket.

Comments about Arc'teryx Crosswire Jacket - Men's:
This is a stylish and extremely well made jacket for casual wear in temperatures up to about 60 degrees or so. I bought this on close out even though the weather was too warm to wear it now. This is a definite staple for your urban wardrobe made from natural fabrics. This does not look like a camping or athletic jacket. I was glad to see REI offering an urban casual jacket, but I don't know why the jacket on the sale page is pictured in brown, as the store only had it carbide or deep dusk, which are much nicer colors. If you are interested, look around because there were several still available in sizes other than XL at my local store in June 2012.

Comments about Arc'teryx Crosswire Jacket - Men's:
Like most Acrteryx products, this jacket fits pretty well. It's fairly trim, so it looks sharp. It's good for casual wearing around town in cool weather. It's cotton, so I wouldn't wear it on a hike. It'll collect too much dust and will be a pain if it gets wet. It doesn't breathe well, but then it's not designed for "active wearing".
The only complaint I have about this jacket is that it's very heavy. The weight would have been fine if it didn't sit on your neck. The collar should sit a bit further back so that all the weight is on the shoulders instead of the back of your neck.

Comments about Arc'teryx Crosswire Jacket - Men's:
The Crosswire Jacket is so understated that it fits in everywhere from the trail, to the job site and then a dinner and a movie. The logo on mine is subdued to a lighter color of the jacket and not of white thread.

Comments about Arc'teryx Crosswire Jacket - Men's:
Arc'teryx is truly one of the best brands out there. It may be a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. The only negative thing about this jacket is that I would've like it to have a warmer liner so one can wear it all winter long.
