Comments about Arc'teryx Crosswire Jacket - Men's:
This jacket is very well-made. The zippers are smooth, there is an internal vertical-zipper pocket, two flapped chest pockets, and buttoned cuffs. The fit is casual. I am 6'1", 180 lbs, athletic build, and the large was very comfortable. If you like things slim-fitting and uncomfortable get the medium. The fabric is a heavy cotton canvas, and beads very light water, but if this got soaked it would probably be very heavy and uncomfortable. I can't see any reason for someone to wear this on the trail. If it is cold enough to warrant a jacket, you are better off with a soft shell. On a motorcycle, sure, but not if you are going to be exerting energy. There is also a screen logo on the left sleeve that is pretty small, but noticeable. A good-looking and very sturdy jacket for the money.

Comments about Arc'teryx Crosswire Jacket - Men's:
I wear this one every day. Its tough; tough like a framing hammer or an old pair or work boots. Through house construction and boat work this has held up as good as any garmet could; washes well and is very comfortable to wear all day long day after day. The flap above the chest pockets allows you to store a smart phone and not loose in out of the pocket everytime you bend over; the lower exterior hand warmer pockets are deep enough to hold small items like change and screws without them ever falling out. Interior pocket is a good size with a zipper closure for stuff you don't want your girlfriend to find...well made cuffs...zipper goes ALL the way up for a nice secure and snug feel when its cold. Overall the cut of the jacket is superb; not too tight but a nice snug fit; I'm 6'1, 200 lbs, wear 33 or 34 pants around the waist. I would love to have a few of these in the closet in case they stop making them. Durability right in line with a Carhart or similar genre of work coat. Durable, tough and handsome, this one is a keeper. Certainly less resistant to stains from oils or paints than a shell would be as this is woven fabric...and if you zip up your winter beard into the metal zipper you won't forget it; neither will anyone standing within earshot!

Comments about Arc'teryx Crosswire Jacket - Men's:
I really like this coat so far. I think I can see wearing it from 60s to about 35 or 40 degrees comfortably. Just took a long walk in about 45 degree weather with a long sleeve shirt under and it was the perfect weight. It didn't get too warm, (anything less breathable and I would have been sweating). I thought it would have been slightly more windproof, but I'll take the "not sweating after long walk" any time. It looks great and is slimmer than most jackets in fit throughout. I'm 6 ft 200 lb and large was fine.

Comments about Arc'teryx Crosswire Jacket - Men's:
I have always loathed the look of outdoor clothing. All of it. It looks like toddler clothing to me, most of the time. THIS, however, is something I would wear every day and feel like a grown-up. A stylish grown-up. Not just every day use, but to gallery openings, rock shows, dinner, whatever. I went with the darkest color, of course. Goes with my lifestyle. I sincerely hope Arc'teryx continues to pursue this line of design rather than the neon, technical characteristic of most outdoor clothing. This is worth the expense to me.

Comments about Arc'teryx Crosswire Jacket - Men's:
The Crosswire Jacket is so understated that it fits in everywhere from the trail, to the job site and then a dinner and a movie. The logo on mine is subdued to a lighter color of the jacket and not of white thread.

Comments about Arc'teryx Crosswire Jacket - Men's:
Arc'teryx is truly one of the best brands out there. It may be a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. The only negative thing about this jacket is that I would've like it to have a warmer liner so one can wear it all winter long.
