The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Saucony Hattori Road-Running Shoes - Men's:
I have run about 70 miles in these shoes so far and I am most impressed. I had a lot of toe-joint problems with my running shoes and so I started running barefoot on soccer fields and then switched to the adidas sala x indoor soccer shoes with hardly any support or cushion for roads, but the upper material was less than ideal for strictly running. I checked the Hattori out online but couldn't find any useful information/reviews before I bought them. If you buy these or any zero drop shoe (those indoor shoes I was wearing were pretty much zero drop too) it will take a long time for your calf muscles to get used to it, but it is very good for your form and running motion. Now my toes don't hurt at all. I even had stress fractures in my knee, and my knees are fine in these shoes. Some advice: work into longer runs slowly because you'll naturally want to run faster in this shoe. What I've noticed is that my form will start to break down when my muscles get too tired, and then I have to really pay attention to how far I will go because this shoe makes your muscles absorb impact more than the sole. Also, make sure you don't get a bigger size than you need, they are so very comfortable too, it is like a hefty sock, so you might get a bigger size than you need if you don't run around and down hill in them first. It is a great product that I believe helps you stay more aware of your stride and allows you to run freely.

Comments about Saucony Hattori Road-Running Shoes - Men's:
Before these shoes, my minimalist experience was with the Vibram KSOs for training and Saucony Kinvaras for racing. I was drawn to the funky look and extremely light weight of these shoes. I've done more than 150 miles in them, mostly 3-6 mile faster-pace runs or 5K races, and have to give them props. The soles are holding up better than I would've expected, and the tops look great too (I've thrown them in the wash a couple of times). They provide a great balance of feel for the road and cushioning at impact, help improve one's gait if need be, and are so light you can't help but move a little faster when you run. Speaking from experience, these thing simply blow the new Brooks PureConnects away in every way!

Comments about Saucony Hattori Road-Running Shoes - Men's:
I was looking for a good distance lightweight shoe. I like the five fingers but after a few hours of running they start killing my feet. When I go back to a 9 or 10 oz shoe I hate it. This is the best of both worlds by far, feels like nothing but gives lots of cushion

Comments about Saucony Hattori Road-Running Shoes - Men's:
I ran just over 40 miles in these shoes, and saw the sole begin to grind away quickly, the upper tore in several places and my foot would tend to slip around a lot, definitely made me more prone to sprained ankles. Though their extremely light weight, comfy, and great to run in, they just wont do the mileage that any runner needs.
