These cold-weather SportHill Northwind Unders underwear bottoms feature a wind-blocking front panel to take the chill out of wintertime adventures.

Front panel features uses a highly wind-resistant fabric that also offers 4-way stretch, great breathability and quick-drying properties
Remaining panels are constructed with a polyester/spandex blend for ample breathability, moisture-wicking performance and stretch
Feature a comfortable, brushed elastic waistband, which sits roughly 1 in. below the belly button
Flatlock seams on the SportHill Northwind Unders offer flexibility and low-bulk comfort

Just wanted to add that in addition to the inaccurate description and the itchy tag, the stitching on the inseam came completely apart after only 2 wearings - like, the full length of the ENTIRE seam. I'm with the other reviewers - these are going back.

I, too, was very excited about this product. Yet I, too, experienced the seam coming apart in the seat after one wearing. Very frustrating. Returning them tomorrow.

This looks like a great product, except that the windblock panel is on the butt not the front as advertised. I returned without wearing, so I'm not sure if there would have been construction issues as others mentioned.

This is a great concept-a windproof undergarment that fits perfectly under trim fitting nordic pants. The problem had to do with a critical seam failure. After only 10 minutes of wearing these, the middle rear seam had completely come apart and the same was starting on a leg seam. The stitched seam was still in tact but the fabric had actually unraveled and pulled away from it. When I returned it to the store and was contemplating replacing them, the saleswoman shared with me she had taken in a return the day before with the exact same problem. I urge you to buy with caution and am hoping that next season's version will have resolved this issue.

I got these to wear in winter and under skirts, and love everything about them except two things:
1. The thicker, wind-blocking panel is in the back, not the front like it says in the description.
2. I have sensitive skin so I cut the tags off everything. On these, the seam (or maybe the edge of the fabric) where they were sewn in was still so itchy and irritating that I had to hand-sew a softer piece of fabric over that spot (since I had already worn them & couldn't return them). I bought 4 pairs and I do love the fit, but will be returning the three that still have the tags.

I just got a pair of these...I've only worn them once and I LOVE them!! I feel the need to go buy a couple more pair in case they ever stop making them. I got them specifically for cross-country skiing and they are perfect! They kept my bum warm, they are comfortable and do not ride up, nor do they create panty lines. The cut is perfect and they go great underneath my slim-fitting nordic pants. I will wear them for all my winter sports!

*This is an update to my previous review*

Bought another pair and have been wearing them everywhere for everything. Hiking - great, running - great, work (I'm a biologist and work outdoors) - great! Now if only we would get enough snow for skiing! Looks like that previous pair was faulty. I've had this current pair a few weeks and have put them through the ringer with no issues. I will be recommending them, now.

I was so excited to finally come across a woman's boxer brief that actually covered all the bum! I really liked the length and the idea of these unders for cold weather. However, after less than an hour of wear (just regular moving about the house), they came apart at a seam on the left leg. Granted, a seam separation can be stitched up. But at [$] a pair, I didn't think it was right that they needed to be repaired after just short use. I am really hoping that this was just a faulty pair. I plan to re-try these, especially with the ski season approaching. But for now, I would not recommend.
