The Patagonia Violeta daypack is made to fit women's torsos. It offers 1 main compartment, a padded laptop sleeve, an exterior stuff pocket and plenty of small pockets for stashing goods.

Sleek, single-compartment daypack is designed to fit a woman slipping through the daily flux; torso length and air-flow mesh shoulder straps are women-specific
Main compartment holds lunch, papers, books and a sweater; it has stash pockets inside for caching items
Padded sleeve holds up to a 15 in. laptop and is raised off the bottom to protect laptop from impact; sleeve secures with a buckle closure

Comments about Patagonia Violeta Daypack - Women's:

I'm an engineering student, and I got this backpack to replace a backpack I had for the last seven years. With graduation approaching within the next year, I decided to splurge and get myself a pack I could use for travel for many years to come. I got the turquoise color because it was on sale and I think it was a great deal. This backpack perfectly fits my 15.4 inch 2009 Sony Vaio laptop, a 500 page textbook, 5 notebooks, safety glasses, calculator, and has lots of pockets and organizational space for pens and pencils with extra room to spare. The color is beautiful, and the white is more like a cream, which I love even more. Another great thing about the color that I didn't consider is how easy it is to see inside the backpack because light shines through it, so no more digging in the dark for me. Definitely a pack that will set me apart from the crowd, and it's even better that it's carry on compliant!

Very lightweight backpack which is really nice. Cup holders on side are very durable and won't wear out like the ones made out of netting on my last bag. Bag does have little pockets to put things in, however, they would be much better if they were in a separate pocket as opposed to the main pocket. If the bag is full, it can be difficult to reach items near the back. Overall, a really well-made bag (only time will tell, have used it for 1 month with no issues), but there are a few things that could be better in my opinion.
