Rated5out of5byAndy from Long IslandfromHas the 3 essential featureThis bag has the 3 most important features to me; an outside pocket to hold a water bottle or an umbrella or a sunglass case, a grab handle and an outside zippered pocket. It holds an iPad in a sleeve, chargers cables etc and everything I need for a day at work. The rear slot is useful for a newspaper, magazine or plane tickets, etc
Not too big, but still can hold the essentials.

Rated4out of5bySColoradofromComfortably, durable messenger bagThe only reason this bag doesn't get 5 stars is because the buckle on the strap (which is not covered by the padding) hits my collarbone at the length I like to use the strap. The paddiing won't slip over the buckle to cushion. It's not painful, just less comfortable than 5 stars. Otherwise, great, durable bag. I fill it with a lot of books + computer and it holds everything well.

Rated5out of5byrob76fromIt's not THAT big....This bag gets 5 stars b/c it is awesome. But the reviews lead you to believe it is way bigger than it is. I got mine and tried putting a laptop, running shoes, shorts, and a t-shirt in it. Those fit, but nothing more. I can't get my lunch or anything else in. Forget about picking something up at the store. Or carrying a jacket. I am returning and getting the Critical Mass.

Rated5out of5byTomSFfromvery good bagI've been commuting on a bike with this bag for a couple weeks and it's been great. It's seems to be solidly built despite being light. I bought it for the stabilizer strap which has worked well for keeping the bag from sliding to my side. Also, they did away with the velcro that a lot of bags have under the flap which I always found to be loud and cumbersome.

Rated5out of5byHope CarterfromAwesome!I got this bag for my boyfriend who cycles frequently to school. I was worried that it might be too small when I ordered it, but it is a perfect size! He loves the look, color, style, and space that comes with this. The shoulder strap is adjustable, and fits him well. He can easily fit his notebooks, laptop,a few clothes and most importantly his water bottle. Patagonia continues to be one of our favorite brands!

Rated5out of5byKaffeinemanfromGreat REAL messenger bag!The absolute most important feature of this bag is the secondary strap that keep the bag on your back.... where it belongs. Other bags ( some north face options) I have tried do not have this strap and nothing is more irritating or unsafe about having your pack slide around to your front side while riding. I bike to and from work and school 5-7 days a week and carry a lot of stuff back and forth.Has plenty of room for a notebook, a textbook or two, extra clothes, bike lock, and food & drink. Overall the format and layout of pockets is fantastic, and if you have daily bike commute I can't recommend this enough. This pack is purpose built for bike riding/ commuting.

Rated5out of5bySo Mpls DougfromGreat BagMy wife uses this every day in her role as a special ed teacher and has been delighted with it so far. She stuffs it full every morning and brings home even more at night. A very nice bag that is roomy and comfortable to sling over her shoulder and go.
