The sleeves were too long. However, because of the double hem where the extension with thumb holes was added, it was easy to cut off the extra length without having to do any addition sewing.

I bought this for my boyfriend because it had thumbholes for that extra warmth for the wrists and hands. The shirt fit him perfectly -- he really likes how the shirts feels - nice material. It keeps him warm but does not get overheated in it. He really has only good things to say about it.

I was wearing this shirt when I fell ~75 feet on to rocks and was unconscious about 5 hours in low 40s weather. I had a collapsed lung and a broken L1 vertebra. The shirt was destroyed by the fall but it kept me warm enough that I didn't progress past stage one hypothermia. I'm buying two more now.
Also, it's really great for just about any activity I can think of, and the thumb holes are CLUTCH.

I purchased the REI Airflyte Mock Top for the Spartan Beast race since the forecast was for rain. This shirt exceeded my expectations. Before my start it was raining, but I felt comfortable and warm. During the race it allowed for free movement and did not impeded me from completing obstacles. The times that I was submerged, it only seemed like minutes later that I felt dry again. At the end of the day when the temp drop, again the shirt provided me with warmth. I will definately be buying another one of these shirts.

I've worn my Airflyte Mock neck shirt for both a good number of runs as well as as a base layer under a sweater or a shirt for work. The top feels great. It has a close to the body fit that great for a base layer, without feeling clingy or tight. The shirt is warm without being hot and breathes well enough for running on a trail on a 35˚F day. (I'll typically pair it with a wind layer for that extra bit of insulation.)
The thumb holes in the sleeves are perfect as is that extra bit of length that comes with a shirt designed for cold weather should. The sleeves allow you to cover your hands at the start of a run to keep them warm then uncover them as you warm up.
I really like my shirt a lot and hope that they come back in stock soon so I can order a couple more. After 30 days with the short I want to order more... they survive constant use and frequent washing like a champ!

I bought this top to use for outdoor running. I've worn it alone in cold weather (40's), and as a base layer in colder weather (20's), and it's done great in both uses. It also looks reasonable enough to wear casually. I also can wear this in the gym. It doesn't restrict movement at all. I love it and am buying another one.
