Use on lakes most of the times fishing and exercise. Big upgrade frome a 27" beam. This Dagger is a 23" beam wich allows greater maneuverabiltiy and edjing for control. Don't worry about tipping you'll bob back up no problem. Like riding a bicycle after a few times. Kayaking in Destin, Fl in the Bays and Ocean was a lot of fun with this sporty 14' Very versatile kayak. You'll be looking for big swells to play . Note I'm 5'9" 160 lbs type "S" is good fit for me. If your a large type "L" is availible.
