Comments about Keen Commuter II Bike Sandals - Women's:
I love these shoes! I wear them on all my bike rides. They rock on high mile multi-day events. I have a wide foot, but the bungee system adjusted really well to my foot shape. no matter what shoe I wore, I would have problems with my feet after 30 miles or so,except with these. these feel just great! I also find my self wearing them out to eat, since the cleats are recessed enough that you don't "click" with every step when off the bike. Just love these shoes!

Comments about Keen Commuter II Bike Sandals - Women's:
I like riding in sandals. Feet don't get wrinkly from wet shoes in the rain. No shoe compares in ventilation.
I used these sandals for a two day 150 mile ride. There was no discomfort at all. The power transfer is great for everyday riding, but because of the flexibility for comfort in the straps, even loosening tension, you need to snap your kick out. Road shoes are great for racing, these are great for everything else.
The pinky toe feels goofy at first(this is where I recommend a 1/2size smaller) but doesn't cause any discomfort. The toe box is roomy.
Pedals started squeaking so I took the cleats off the shoes, the pedals off the bike cleaned, lubed, put back on. No more squeaking.
They are everything I expected. The shoes are one with my feet, and I am one with my bike.

Comments about Keen Commuter II Bike Sandals - Women's:
I bought these to replace my old, original Keen Commuters which wore out after 3.5 years of commuting and 2 tours. The Commuter II has some nice improvements that I was very happy to see.
The biggest improvement is the velcro strap across the instep. I have a super narrow foot and always had trouble keeping my old Commuters cinched up tight enough. At times the shoe could be very loose on my foot - not good! The velcro strap solves this problem very nicely. However, it does so at the expense of easy adjustments. From time to time I like to wear socks with these shoes, and the Commuter IIs take a few minutes to adjust the width. Overall, however, I love the strap because the shoe is so much more secure on my foot. The Commuter II feels narrower overall than the original Commuters did, but that could be due to either the strap keeping the shoe tight on my foot, or the excessive wear on my old shoes; when I hold them up next to each other the outsoles are the exact same width.
The inside fabric feels nicer in this shoe and more of the toe area is closed off. They also seem to be less flexible than my old Commuter did, although it could be that the old shoes were getting more flexible as they wore out. My SPD cleats tend to crunch a little on concrete sidewalks. I don't hear them on other surfaces such as asphalt, wood floors, stone, etc., just on concrete. It's annoying enough that I pack walking shoes if I'm going to be walking a ton.
Overall I love having cycling sandals. They aren't exactly high fashion, but they're great for errand running or commuting to an environment with a casual dress code. On tour I don't bother to pack any other shoes.

Comments about Keen Commuter II Bike Sandals - Women's:
I rode these shoes with "egg-beater" pedals before I switched to others on a better bike. Found that they were indeed good for warm weather BUT had a fair amount of flex in the soles - which while good for walking is not totally wonderful for long hard distances on a road bike. So...they're fine for general messin' around but not so much for real mileage. Recommended within limits.

Comments about Keen Commuter II Bike Sandals - Women's:
I got these right before a trip and they felt a little small but I wanted to use them so kept them.
If they were the right size they would be fabulous. I sold them to a friend who wears a full size smaller and she loves them. Buy them but buy them smaller then you need.
