            I use this camelbak for day hikes for the most part. The construction of the bag is designed so that the bladder HAS to be in it to close (no zipper - it hooks on the bottom of the bladder cap) making it unusable as a stand-alone small bag, which is unfortunate. It's also just a little difficult to place the bladder in the bag as a result - a narrow opening on top. It's fine, but i'd probably prefer a zippered camelbak. (I'm not sure the bladder can be transferable to other camelbaks, too, due to this design).

              I needed something for an upcoming 20-mile trail race, and this is perfect. I've worn it for two 14 mile runs and it doesn't bounce at all (which I was very worried about) and it's really easy to get used to. It's so nice to be able to organize my stuff between the two pockets, and I love how many little pouches it has for everything. It's extremely easy to refill, either from a faucet, pitcher, or from another water bottle. The water sloshes a little bit when you run with it, but you get used to it really fast.

                I bought this CamelBak this weekend and then went on two mountain bike rides with it. It has enough space for my extra tube, keys, cell phone, and snacks. Just what I was looking for. No complaints.
