Have the previous generation pack which appears to be identical except for graphics.

This pack is excellent for cycling or hiking and I've used it for both - water stays cold and helps keep your back cool. It has a surprisingly large amount of storage capacity which expands even more if you take out the bladder and use water bottles on the bike. I've loaded it up with water, a full size U-lock, wallet, keys, phone, snack, and thin layer and it's still comfortable for a day's ride.

Only annoying part is one of the zippered pockets opens on all sides making it easy for things to fall out if you're not careful.

Wow...how exciting can a Hydration Pak be?

This is my third Camelbak Hydration Pak and possibly the best yet. The external fill is a quarter turn rather than the older screw type. I use it for motorcycle trips, running, bicycle trips and hiking. I had an older unit without the external fill which requires the entire bladder to be removed to fill daily which was a hassle for multi-day adventures.

The external pockets have space for a cell phone, keys, id and more. The lower pouch has room for a light layer on bike trips or sunblock for hiking.

The hydration bladder has neat clips that prop open the bladder to allow easier drying. This is great for daily use and for motorcycle trips over multiple days.

The only reason I purchased this item is that the old Camelbak hydration paks became soiled beyond cleaning from extended use/sweat etc.
