Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will definitely buy a 2nd pair. I use these Churns for everyday wear. I was able to get a new pair half off. I never even tried them on in store, but they fit true to size and exceeded my expectations. I've had these for close to a year now and I plan on getting a 2nd/3rd pair if I ever see them on sale again. The pair I have now are still in great shape and do not have much wear on the sole. While most of the upper construction is super lightweight mesh, the sole of the heel is very thick and durable. So it's not ultra light weight, but overall weighs about the same as my other lightweight day use sneakers/running shoes. I don't even have mine tightened at all and the shoe fits snug b/c the upper is elasticized (snug enough to run in). So they are easy on and easy off without the hassle of tying shoes, but if you need to tighten them, it's a cinch (pun intended, b/c all you do is cinch the drawstring-like closure system). The next big advantage is the slipper-like quality. If I'm going outside to check the mail or in a rush to get out the door and into my car, I don't even bother putting my heel into the shoe; I just wear them like slippers. Works as advertised and is definitely a pro! I have received several positive comments by friends who like the charcoal grey styling and the reflective lining holding the laces. The reflection isn't enough to add meaningful safety, but it's better than nothing and looks great. The charcoal grey shoes go well with my dark denim jeans. For day-to-day wear, the mesh is both a pro and con. I don't like walking across wet grass (e.g., morning dew or after a rain/sprinklers) because the mesh works too well and I can feel the moisture creeping in from the top of the toe area. I don't mind this, since it's to perform its advertised duty of draining/drying quickly if the shoes get water logged. I only have one con about these shoes. Within the first 2 days of wearing them, the little synthetic leather nub that holds the shoelace down at the toe of the shoe came unstitched/undone. After a few months, I was tired of looking down and seeing one shoe looking slightly different than the other, so I ended up just removing the nub and I also unstitched/removed the nub from the other shoe. It hasn't posed any problems, seems structurally fine, and looks like a matching pair now. (See pictures)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First time buyer...already IN LOVE! Bought these specifically for a cruise, and 2 weeks later, I haven't worn any of my other shoes. They are light, breathable, and very comfortable. The draw string is perfect to wear them loose walking around, and when I feel like a run, I just pull it tight. I wore them hiking through rocky streams and rappelling down a waterfall with no problems. The shoes drain great and were dry within the hour. No water-soaked, wrinkled toes like other shoes. Best part of all, I can wear them without socks and my feet and shoes don't smell, haha!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great versatility! I specifically purchased these shoes for a vacation in Glacier National Park this past summer. I wanted a single pair of shoes that would handle day hikes, rock hopping along rivers, rafting and general casual day use. These shoes absolutely lived up my needs and expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Shoe I use the shoe every day. I wore them for 25 days solid no breaks walking in the pouring rain an sunshine. They breath really nicely and dry quick.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tight fit These are hard to get on and have a tight fit, but that's what makes them good water shoes. They keep the debris out and allow the water to flow right through. It's great to have a shoe that I can hike, portage and kayak in without needing to pack seperate shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best shoe yet I love this shoe. I bought one to use after my knee surgery. The slip on feature makes this shoe feel like a sock. I bike to work everyday. In rain and heat they have with stood over a year and still look GREAT. I even bought 3 of the other colors. I stop wearing other shoes I have in my closet new in boxes. This will be the only shoe I will buy for every day wearing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again and again I bought a pair of these 3 years ago for something light to wear around Italy while vacationing. They were incredible. Great with Jeans, short, or slacks. I only needed one pair of shoes! I am going back and didn't really need a new pair but I bought two pair anyway just in case they would be discontinued! I now have a lifetime supply of the best all around shoe I have ever owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing river shoe Great to finally have a river shoe that has good hiking support. I am fed up with always changing from sandal to hiking shoes for side hikes. these satisfy all of the river guides needs for quick drying, good scouting gription and overall foot protection when it all goes sour.
