Use Daily at the Gym for both Cardio and Weight Training. Can go from workout to sauna then shower to out the door in the same pair of workout shoes. Very good traction and has helped in weight distribution during lifts. Feet no longer ache after long bouts on the treads and elliptical, have even used in a spin class. Very easy to get on and off after a few wears, seem to mold to foot pattern.
Just throw in the wash a couple of time during the week to keep any odor away...

I bought these for my nephew, although I have a pair of my own, as he was having knee issues and the early stages of developing a bunion. Knowing how important our feet are I suggested him wearing these shoes. Rather than skate shoes and to use them for track practice. He's been wearing them since and has had a drastic decrease in muscle or joint pain, YAY! Everything about the shoe is great. He will probably grow out of them before he gets the chance to wear them out. But, they are a durable shoe that are extremely comfortable. As well as supporting a persons foot and back health through good posture and etc.
My only qualm is that they aren't waterproof, most running shoes aren't, but that they are more permeable than the usual running shoe. Despite this one facet I think the shoe is excellent and give it an excellent review.

first off REI is great about handling return and making sure you are satisfied. that being said i've owned a pair of KMD sports and used them for just about everything ex: sparring on pavement, outdoor and indoor handball, running on pavement and through trails, around the house, and driving. They were awesome hands down. only con, dont use them for pavement sports it will eat them up in no time. Now I'm in the Bikila LS and right from the start they feel super comfortable. hugs my feet nice and snug. During the brief time of my switch from the KMD sports and the Bikila i was forced to run in my reg running shoes, it was not happening. after using the KMD sport for about 6 months i could not stand running in my reg running shoes. Pros: super comfy great for running and just about everything else. Cons: i would not use them if you are thinking about doing outside sports on pavement. after 2 months of sparring 3 times a week on pavement running 3 miles, steep up and downhill between a 18-19min time and outdoor handball sessions it took a month and a half to eat them up almost to my bare feet. Sparring on pavement and outdoor handball probably are not the best uses for them. as far a running on the pavement they were great my previous pair of KMD sports were holding up very well for the first 5 months until my brother and i had to use pavement for sparring due to other field activities that limited our use of the field. overall they are a great shoe for runners interested in going the barefoot route takes a bit to stop the heel striking but is well worth it. Running the hills hard will be very tough i would suggest easy on the downhill push it on the uphill. Best bet is to get all the info about them and see if they apply to your physical activities and give them a shot for yourself.

Purchased my second pair yesterday, without a second thought. My first pair lasted a year and I finally started wearing the tread out in the toes. They do require an initial break in to get accustomed to your new form. I wish I would have listened to other reviewers and taking my first few weeks easy which I didn't and then ended up be forced to take a few weeks doing light workouts by injury.
I use them for street running everyday with a few races in there, hiking while caring at minimum one of the kids, trail running, and on occasion everyday wear. They preformed well in all aspects.
My only complaint would be that their traction on wet aggregate concrete is poor. I do recommend socks as a must though, they keep the smell to almost zero. My first few months when I didn't have socks, I HAD to wash them at least twice a week which I'm sure took some life out of them.

This is a great workout shoe. This is the second pair I've owned (3rd Vibram FiveFingers pair), though I'll admit that I bought it this time due to store availability—I think I would have rather gone back to the Bikila or another more flexible shoe. This shoe is a tad stiffer than I'd like, which caused some issues the first few days. Make sure to adjust all the straps to your liking to ensure you have a snug fit before use. But the shoe is incredibly durable, and gives great traction.
Main uses: Jogging a couple miles now and then, fitness classes/gym use.

These are my second pair of vibram toe shoes. I bought them because the others I had were an early version, very minimal and a bit cold for winter running. These did the trick, in fact they work so well, my feet can even feel a bit too warm if I use them inside on a treadmill. They fit great, are extremely comfortable, work well on pavement, street and grass. In the summer though I will probably return to the lighter shoe.

I canoe and camp year round I have been looking for the perfect shoe. These are great on sharp granite and the like. The are a little on the warm side if you are in the sun. I used them to bathe in a lake with sharp rocks before bed and was disappointed that they were not dry in the morning. It was low humidity but only around 40s F. They do dry best on your feet in the sun. As for the rest they function just like your feet. They kept me from slipping and allowed for an almost barefoot feel.

I used my komodosport shoes up at scout camp and I loved them! I had to make a game of being more careful with where I walked because I stubbed my toes a couple times. But it always seemed to be the same toe.
Since coming home from scout camp I haven't stubbed my toe once. My shoes have worked really well.
The detail fell off after a week but since then nothing has come off.
After the first time I went and played frisbee I noticed that there was a little tear between the mesh and the shoe by the left little toe. But I played again and I was impressed.
My shoes do get really stinky but I can just put them in the washer and then that helps to remove the stench.
At the store I tried the komodosport ls on but didn't really like them. Then I tried komodosport and I really liked the feel. I would highly suggest trying these shoes on before you buy them.
I really do love my komodosports!

I bought three pairs of these shoes. A pair for me and a pair for each of my two sons (Ages 6 and 3). These shoes are awesome. I use mine in the gym when lifting weights, daily walking around and anytime I'm gonna be in water, near water or around water. My Boy's absolutely love these shoes, I actually have to force them to wear their other shoes just so that they don't wear-out these one pair and so that their other shoes get any use at all.
The only negative to these shoes is, I would no go running in them, I tried it and albeit they work well for running, I run 10k every day and I love my running shoes.
I would certainly recommend purchasing these shoes.
