Comments about Kuhl Splash Roll-Up Pants - Women's:
I so wanted this pant to work for me. I tried it on in store, and I loved the material and the cut. The waist is a comfortable mid-rise, the pockets are well-placed, and the roll-up feature is perfect. The major con is that these pants are way too short! I'm 5'8", 135 pounds and although the size 8 fit, when rolled down the legs weren't long enough to cover my socks. I wanted these to work so badly that I tried going up to a 10 and even a 12, but they were still too short. When I checked the specs online I saw that the inseam is 30". In my opinion that's more of a petite length--the standard "regular" inseam is generally 32". Kuhl, please make these longer!

Comments about Kuhl Splash Roll-Up Pants - Women's:
I would have to agree with the taller woman's assessment that these are made for a more petite build. They did incredibly well on my recent trek to the Sinai and I have bought the other 2 colors so I can have 3 pairs for my summer archeology gig in Jordan. If you are between 5'2" and 5'5" these are amazing pants as they will be the right length for you. If you are taller or shorter, they won't be right. They have an tough reinforced hemline (not suitable for shortening) that can be stepped on and will never fray. And the price is very reasonable for the quality!

Comments about Kuhl Splash Roll-Up Pants - Women's:
I have tried about every brand and style of convertible travel pants and these are the bomb! I'm 5'2", about 107lbs and never can find anything that looks good, fits right, and wears well. These are the exception to my life. The size 2 is actually that. While they have some stretch in them, you can wear them for days and they don't stretch out to 4 sizes too large. The extra knee joints make them great for walking up steep inclines. I'm taking them to Egypt in a few days, but meanwhile tested them climbing cobbled inclines in France a few days ago. I have a feeling I'll only love them more when I get back from the Sinai!

Comments about Kuhl Splash Roll-Up Pants - Women's:
My only complaint about these pants is that the waist is about 1 inch too large, but I bought a size 6 so they fit my hips. Though snug around the hips, the fabric stretches with you so they're comfortable. I'm 5'5" and 125 pounds. The pants are only slightly too long so I had to roll up the ends when I wore sandals but they were perfect length with hiking shoes on. The stretchy fabric moves with you, but keeps its shape really well even after several days of wearing them. The leg pockets are great for tucking in my camera lens cap, chapstick, suncreen, cell phone, and other necessities while hiking and traveling. I love them so much, I've begun wearing them out in the city and I'm looking for another pair in a different color.

Comments about Kuhl Splash Roll-Up Pants - Women's:
It's funny that others have found these too short. I am 5'7" and wish they were about 1" shorter. I weigh 125 lbs and had to go 2 sizes higher than my usual 6 buying a 10 which is a little strange, but I have always found Kuhl to run a little small as a rule. Either way though I love these pants. I luckily tried the pants on in the store to find the sizing out before buying them and I love them so much that after 2 weeks I am now online looking to buy another pair in a different color. I have a casual dress code at work so I wear them there a lot but they are nice enough to pair with a nicer top for a Happy Hour and I am sure they will be great for the next trip I go on for both the airplane ride and for exporing a town or hiking a mountain.

Comments about Kuhl Splash Roll-Up Pants - Women's:
These pants are the best travel pants I have found. The material is exceptional and they can be worn multiple times without "bagging out". The length is great -- the inseam is really about 31 inches and it was great not having to hem them. Most jeans & pants are so long and petite pants sizes don't work for me due to the rise. I am 5'5" and 138 and usually wear a size 8, but in these, the size 10 was more comfortable in the waist. Highly recommend these pants!

I love these pants, so flattering and actually stylish and cool looking. I bought my size even though they were tight when I tried them on and reviews said to size up. They stretched out so much (after just 2 hours of wearing them!) that I had to keep pulling them up and the rear got really saggy. Im returning them for a smaller size.

I have hiked in these pants several times and, with the exception of the waist being too large, I have been completely satisfied with them. The fabric is great!

These pants are the best! Took them touring in Europe (Norway, Denmark, Holland) for three weeks this summer. Washed them only once. Wore them close to every day. They never bagged out or got to loose in the waist. Very comfortable overall. I had a little issue with the crotch being a bit high in the beg. but that seemed to go away. I am 5'4", 100lb. I bought the carbon size 2. I am back to buy more before the go away. I only rolled them up once to go bike riding but all was well. Had a nicer look than a jean for traveling. Love the pockets too!

I am newly retired and have 5 pair of these pants and use them all the time. They are great for casual wear and travel, as well as rugged enough for hiking and boating. I am 5'7" and 135 lbs and find that the length is just fine for me. Washing them in cold water and then 10 minutes on Delicate dry cycle leaves them wrinkle-free.
