Women-specific design takes into account women's foot dimensions and pedal stroke to optimize comfort

Bought these shoes because they're SPD compatible, and I already had SPD pedals because I'm more used to mountain biking than road biking -- plus, they have pink trim on them! :-) They fit great and are very easy to walk in. I have wide feet, and even though I went 1/2 size larger, they feel a bit tight in the toe area, but the velcro allows a wide range of adjustments. Good pull on hills, but I'd prefer something a bit more rigid with less motion in the shoe. Can't comment on wear yet because I've had the shoes for only a couple of months, but I've done some long, hard rides in them, and they're overall great.

These are my first pair of cycling shoes. I love them! They were at an affordable price, are comfortable, and simple to use. I think they're perfect for my purpose of recreational cycling.

I can't wait to get on my bike and try them out. The one down-fall I have is my left shoe is too big. The right shoe fits fine. I am a size 7 1/2, I would love a size 39 for my left foot and keep the size 40 for my right foot. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, I would trade one shoe with you as long as they haven't been used other than trying them on and walking around the house like I did for a few minutes. I am new to road biking and clipless pedals and wasn't ready to commit to a full on, ultra stiff road bike shoe with a slick sole and external cleats, so these were a good starter shoe for me. They are a big upgrade from the running shoes I used to wear with the platform pedals on my old hybrid bike - the sole is much stiffer which, combined with the SPD clip-on pedals on my new bike, makes a huge difference in pedaling efficiency and foot comfort over the long haul. Plus, they are super comfortable and easy to walk in due to recessed cleats and tread on the bottom (nice if you want to get off your bike to run an errand or something). They do run small, however. I'm a women's size 7.5, usually take a 38 or 39 in Euro sizes but needed a 40 in this shoe.

I tried on a lot of road bike shoes, and this pair stood out as the most comfortable. I normally wear a 39, but had to go with a 40, but they fit like a glove. I got the cycling shop people to install my cleats onto the shoes, but the cleats themselves were easy to adjust to my riding position. I wish they had a better binding system than the velcro closure, but it works well, and for [$], you can't beat the quality of these shoes!
