The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Rated4out of5bymikeffromJust ordered my second pairLove these pants. Just ordered my second pair. I can dress casually at work and these pants just skirt the line between casual and semi-dressy when paired with a nice shirt or polo. I have a 2.5 hour total commute too and these pants look good after sitting ona bus

Rated4out of5byEriktheredfromGreat pants.Great pants! I searched for a while for a pair of slim fit, light, water-resistant/quick dry pants to go hiking in and finally found these locally. I'm 6'1" 170 lbs and these fit great (small x 32 long size).
Broke them in on a 15 mile hike and they fared well, very comfortable, lightweight to the point where I sometimes forgot I was wearing pants.
Another plus, the material claims to be stain resistant. I will vouch for that. Within the first week I spilled motor oil all over the legs. They sat for a week, I hit them with some stain scrub before washing, and the mess washed right out of them.
My only negative comment is I wish the legs tapered a little slimmer, perhaps just another inch or two. Overall though, they fit very well and slipped over the tops of my boots.
I'm happy with them and will be getting another pair in a different color.

Rated5out of5byEwebfromBest pants I've ever wornThese pants are amazing. They look sharp, are durable, and the stretch makes them amazingly versatile. Full range of motion, large steps up are unrestricted. If I had to choose one pair of pants to wear for the rest of my life, these would be it.

Rated5out of5byThomas MacfromSo good I bought two more!I bought these two years ago in a size large, and abused them. I spent almost 100 days on the water fly fishing for two years in a row, wearing these almost exclusively. They held up so much better than expected! As I started losing weight, I needed a smaller size and ordered these without a second thought! I am so pleased to have such great pants, and now that fit again!

Rated5out of5byDepotfromGreat Pants! My favorite pair of pants! When I am climbing I don't wear anything else. When I am going out to dinner, I don't have to change to feel dressed well. I love the integrated belt. Doesn't get in the way of a climbing harness or backpack waist belt. For quick bouldering trips, the fold up snap legs are perfect to get the hems out of the way. Great technical properties, perfect design. My favorite pants hands down.

Rated5out of5bygeorgieo101fromExcellent pants for pretty much anythingI was in need of some pants (other than jeans) for outside fun time. These things fit the ticket. I tried them on and was in love. I typically wear a 34 inseam (and some pants get frayed on the bottom so maybe I should be wearing a smaller size) but these fit perfect. Don't drag along the ground, but are not high waters.
Things that are great:I love the mobility I have with them on, the quick drying material, and the comfort that I have in them. Great for lounging or going for a hike. I love the adjustability strap on the waist no need for a belt and the button to roll up the legs with. I love how it feels like I'm wearing nothing at all (nothing at all... nothing at all).
Things that are not great: the vent holes in the crotch area are there... so just know that if you are going commando at the pub or something. Not that they are oversized holes or anything.
Overall I love them, and will definitely buy more pairs of these in the future.

Rated5out of5byCoastieRobfromexcellent travel pants!Just returned from 40 days in Africa with these pants and LOVED them! The pockets are great, especially the zippered one near the left knee. Can fit a passport in there for easy access through customs. Also appreciated the security pocket on the back right. Built in belt was helpful too. On hot days you can roll up the bottoms to convert to capri-style pants which was nice. Liked the material, but only thing is I've noticed some pilling near the back pockets :-( Would buy another pair in dark brown when the price drops.

Rated5out of5byLive your adventurefromMy favorite pair of pantsI absolutely love these pants. I am short and have wide hips so I got the XL and just took them to my tailor to shorten them. They fit very well and allow for completely free movement. I wear these pants all the time. I take them to rock gym and just roll up the bottoms. I wore the pants with some running tights underneath to go ice climbing and they were perfect.
I recommended these pants to my climbing partner and he got a pair and loves them too. I'm normally not a fan of cargo pockets but this one stays flush when nothing is in it so I actually do like the pocket on these pants.
I have taken these pants on climbing trips as my only pants and they hold their shape through extended use.
I have 2 pairs already and will be buying more soon!!
