Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
A great pant for hiking or travel. Light weight means no insulation but this makes them great for warmer weather, although I have used them in 40 degree day hikes and was perfectly comfortable. The material stretches nicely and has some water resistance to it keeping them dry in light rain. They dry quickly and the cuff does on wick water up the leg which makes for a much more comfortable day.
One word of caution they do shrink in the wash and stretch out as you wear them. I am about a 33 inch waist and tried on the medium and large, medium was a little snug so went large, after the first wash they shrank up and fit perfectly. The little waist draw helps adjust for this stretch in the material which is nice.
Overall a great choice for hiking and backpacking, would even recommend for travel as they really don't look too bad with only one subtle leg pocket. Dry quickly, fit comfortably and look good.

These pants are incredible for all-around use. I've traveled, camped, and hiked in them. The roll up leg is a real plus for warmer weather, but they're so breatheable, it's hardly necessary. Dressy enough for heading into town. They last forever! I purchased a second pair years ago and they're still waiting in the closet - my first pair remain in great condition!

Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
These pants are the best fitting, most comfortable pants I've ever owned. I am 5'10" and 150 lbs; usually I wear a size 31 waist and 32 inseam, I bought the small 32" pants and they fit perfectly. I use them mainly for travel because they dry fast and wick away moisture, but they are also nice enough to wear around town. If you are willing to spend a little bit more for a quality pair of pants, I would really recommend them!

How I use this product: hmmmmm a lot. These are my goto pants. climbing in the desert southwest or postholing in the olympics. Solid.
Things that are great about it: durable and worth every penny. Somehow they do not lengthin and drag the ground once wet. Good stuff.
for those who are wondering. PranA says that the medium fits up to a 33 in waist. I measured my waist to be 33/32 and I have got room to spare. The inseam is about on par with other pants of the same length I have.
My recommendation: buy two.

Nice fit . The stretch fabric makes for easy, sure movement when hiking, climbing or backpacking. Lightweight yet sturdy, not too flimsy and comfortable with room to layer underneath. The thigh pocket has nice access and storage.

Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
Great pair of pants! They look like a fairly slim cut, yet are extremely comfortable because of ability to stretch. They stretch very well!
These pants breathe well, so I was able to wear them on hot day hikes and feel good. They keep warm ok, though for anything below 50F I put on a base layer if inactive.
They look nice enough that I can wear them to my office on casual days, and to dinners with a dress shirt during my travels.
The material is thin (not close to as thin as REI Sahara pants) and light so they pack well. Yet they are made durable. The material is very soft on skin, and I enjoy traveling with them without discomfort.
They don't seem to get dirty easily (they do eventually after climbing and scrambling of course), and they don't seem to retain the smell like cotton pants would.
I enjoy climbing with them, I travel with them, I put them on for casual Fridays at the office, and weekend shopping trips.
I have to say these are the most comfortable and versatile pants I ever had - not an exageration. The only con to me is the price range, but for the price they deliver. Love these pants!

Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
I heard the hype about these climbing pants, tried them on at the store, and decided to give them a try. I found they are not only the best pants for climbing, but they are so comfortable that I find myself wearing them often, even just around the house. Without zip-off legs, which IMO aren't necessary, they look great and are suitable to wear out to the restaurant or bar after the climb.
They are comfortable for all activities, thanks to the fabric with just the right amount of stretch, but as an unexpected benefit, I found on cold, windy hikes in Colorado above 13k feet that they are surprisingly windproof and warm, so I only need to wear snowpants when conditions get really nasty.
The only con is that the waist is too big in medium size, and the built-in belt is a bit thin thin and tends to slip. I have a 32" waist and am planning to get the waist taken in at least an inch. Otherwise, the pants fit really well, and have more than adequate length (everyone hates pants that are too short).
I like these pants so much that I bought a pair for my wife -- other than the waist being a bit too big for her also (in size S, but they are men's pants, after all), she loves them also.

... it would be these. They are tough, light, handsome, functional, dry quickly, water beads off them, good features, the gusseted crotch gives you good range of motion for whatever activity you may have.
They fit like a tailored pair of pants, its unbelievable. If you are an active person, in any respect, just get them.

Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
For what it's worth, this is the first review that I have ever posted (on any product, any website) - and I have bought a lot of great stuff in the past. That said, I thought these pants were so awesome, I wanted to post a review. The material is great - breathable and stretchable. I really like the adjustable strap that allows you to tighten or loosen the waist. All the comfort and convenience of an elastic waistband without the shame. Either the material loosens over the course of the day or I shrink but the adjustable strap makes it easy to maintain a very comfortable fit. I wish all of my technical outdoor pants had this feature. The pants wear well and are great for a day outside or a Saturday at the office. I tried on a couple of sizes and bought the pair that was just right. Since I did not buy a little larger than I needed, I was concerned about shrinkage in the material. I have not had a problem with this - however, after washing the pants, I airdry only (no dryer).I am happy with the single leg pocket, in addition to the normal hip and back pockets. These pants are not intended to be very baggy so a lot of additional pockets crammed with a lot of stuff would probably make them somewhat more uncomfortable. The price point ([$]) is a little high. That said, given their flexibility of use, solid but lightweight construction, etc., I find the price well worth it.I would gladly recommend this product to anyone.

Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
The description references "double thick panels" in the knees. This does not seem to be the case. That is my only, and very minor gripe.
AMAZING pants.
Very comfortable.
Very light, while still seeming durable.
The DWR coating is a great feature. The cargo pocket is low profile and, while I was a bit dubious about the usefulness of the top and side access for the cargo pocket, I totally use it. It is brilliant.
Service and delivery comments:
Len and the other folks at the Fairfax store were very helpful.
