Comments about Mammut Ophira 3 Slide Climbing Harness - Women's:
I bought this harness because it is relatively cheap and I am a poor graduate student. I just grabbed the smallest size, an XS, that was in the store and went out to use the harness the next day. Even though it was an XS, it was still too big! I am a smaller gal (5'3", 110-115 lbs, with a 25-26" waist), but not the smallest so I was shocked that the XS was still too large. The leg straps did not cinch down tight enough and neither did the waist. The harness did perform fine, but it was just too loose for me. Anyone larger than a 0/2 in women's sizing who is looking for a budget option will be just fine with it though, I am sure. But for me, item will be returned.

Comments about Mammut Ophira 3 Slide Climbing Harness - Women's:
I work at a summer camp ropes course and I spend a few hours every day in my harness. This harness is very comfortable, even when hanging in it. I've only had it for about two months but it seems very durable and well made. It was a great purchase for the price!

Comments about Mammut Ophira 3 Slide Climbing Harness - Women's:
I am a beginner climber and I did not want to spend more than 60 dollars on my first harness. I tried it on and it was a good fit... I tried on other ones just to give them a chance. But I just couldn't let this one go. :) I tried it out at an indoor place and it worked great.

Comments about Mammut Ophira 3 Slide Climbing Harness - Women's:
As a cheapskate, I bought this on sale even though I'm a guy. At 5' 8", 140 lbs, 30" waist, the Medium size fits me great.
My previous "harness" (swami belt & leg loops) was 25+ years old, so I broke down and got a new one.
I like the fact that it's really fast to put on, very light and has good gear loops (although I mostly only use the front gear loops as the back ones are pretty hard to reach on lead).
Safety-wise, the belay loop looks super durable (and even the haul loop is beefy). Having always tied my swami belt with webbing and a water knot, the speed buckle is super convenient -- I'd suggest you back up the buckle with an overhand knot after the webbing exits the buckle.
Took a 25' leader fall it in the other week (on 80' of rope, so a lower-end fall factor) and the catch wasn't noticeable. Hanging in it is comfortable too (although a multi-hour hanging belay might be a bit much).
Overall, a very good harness: safe, comfortable and hopefully lasts a long time.

Comments about Mammut Ophira 3 Slide Climbing Harness - Women's:
I am a petite female who was looking for a harness that was comfortable when cinched down tight. Tried the Black Diamond Primrose harness (xs) and never felt like I could get it to fit right. Tried this harness (xs) and LOVED it. Its super comfortable and has lots of loops for gear. I can't comment yet on durability but after a few months of use (both indoor and out) its doing great. I recommend it to any woman.
