The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Patagonia Active Hipster Briefs - Women's:
I was replacing all my underwear which I had owned for about 10 years. I wanted something that would last and be comfortable for daily use, travel well (quick dry, easy to wash), backpacking (seamless), and attractive. I think these are expensive, but since I didn't need to replace my previous underwear for nearly 10 years, I figured these should last long enough that over time the up front cost would be reasonable. I've been wearing these now for over a year. I own several blacks and beige pairs. I initially ordered one pair of every patagonia underwear that REI carries and decided that this pair was the most attractive on my body type. These have proven to be great at the gym, for daily use, for backpacking, and travel. Their only flaw, is that (period) pads don't stick well to the fabric. I use a DIVA CUP (extremely highly recommended) but always have a pad too - just in case and this fabric isn't good for pads--similar to microfiber. None-the-less, I don't regret my purchase and will buy more when I see them on sale.

Love them because they don't bind. No panty line to dig into your skin while running or biking-anytime. Breathable and very comfortable. Worth the price. Hold up well. Love the colors and styles.
Great for active lifestyles

These are great. Perfect fit and my husband said "very attractive and flattering". They are soft and fit my body with the right amount of tightness. I will buy another pair soon!

This is all I wear now. They're expensive, but well worth it. The fit is perfect, lines hardly show under my work clothes, they stay relatively dry when I'm exercising, and they're very practical when traveling.

BEST wicking underwear I have ever purchased! Stylish, keeps moisture at bay, comfortable with no riding up, and no irritation anywhere, even on long runs (currently up to a half marathon). If I could wear these every day, I would! They've been especially nice under casual clothing, too, during this very hot summer. If you're trying to figure out your size, I'm 5' 3", 130 pounds, and purchased a Size Small.

Comments about Patagonia Active Hipster Briefs - Women's:
Before I set out on a ten-month backpacking trip around Asia, I bought three different types of REI underwear, the Ex-Officio boy cut briefs, Patagonia active hipsters, and Lole bikini briefs (which don't appear to be on the website). I decided to write an all-inclusive review, I hope it helps. The Ex-Officios were BY FAR my favorite, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a sturdy and useful pair of underwear for traveling. These dry amazingly quickly, even in the Bornean rainforest where nothing EVER dries. By far the quickest drying of the three brands I tried, which is a lifesaver when you are doing your laundry in the sink every few days. They are also very lightweight and breathable, which is especially great in hotter climates. I took them on two treks in Sikkim and Nepal, and they were great for hiking and camping. It is also no small feat that these babies held up for TEN MONTHS of almost constant wear-- they never tore or started to look shabby. These may not be the cutest underwear in the world, but they really get the job done. And lets face it, I would take function over cute any day.
My second favorite pair were the Patagonia Active Hipsters, which held up surprisingly well over the course of my trip. They didn't dry nearly as fast as the Ex-Officios, but they were way better than cotton undies. They also look significantly cuter, and worked great as swimming suit bottoms in a pinch. The fabric is really nice, and holds up well (no tears in ten months of wear!), but like I said is not nearly as lightweight, breathable, or fast-drying as the Ex-Officios. But overall a good pair of underwear, and worth the money.
The Lole underwear I also bought, which are not on the REI website, were my least favorite by far. After only a few washes, they started to look really dingy and old, and one pair got a hole right in the crotch. They looked cute, and the fabric was really soft, but they didn't dry that fast, and were over all not too functional for traveling or camping.
Hope that helps!

I was a bit unsure about buying these since I've never spent so much money on underwear before, but I am SO glad that I did. I bought 3 pairs and am always wearing them. These are my absolute favorite pair of underwear (I even wore them under my wedding dress because I knew they wouldn't ride up and they would be comfortable!!!!). I mostly wear them for athletic activities (skiing and running) and if I had more I'd wear them daily just because they're so great. I would tell anyone who is considering them to definitely get them because the money spent is well worth it.

I purchased this pair two months ago in advance of a large trip. I've worn them every other week and cannot bear the amount of smell that they retain. I am not odorous when wearing normal cotton panties but I just reek after sitting at work for a few hours in these. I work at an ob/gyn office and know what's normal and what's not. I decided not to take them trekking.
The size and fit are wonderful.

Although expensive, these panties are worth every penny! They dry quickly, don't ride up, and have zero to minimal visible panty lines under most clothing. I ride horses, dressage and jumping, and these panties stayed in place! No riding up and no wedgies. They had no visible panty lines under pants, shorts, or riding breeches and had minimal panty lines under riding tights and spandex work-out pants. These are the most comfortable panties I have ever worn. Fit is true to size. They hand wash very easily and dry overnight I will be saving up to buy more pairs.

Comments about Patagonia Active Hipster Briefs - Women's:
I was a little reluctant to shell out for these, but boy am I ever glad I did! Now, slowly but surely, I'm replacing most of my underwear with these. I found them incredibly comfortable for traveling and a bit of light hiking, but the true test was wearing them riding. I wore them for a dressage lesson, and after twenty minutes of sitting trot work, there was no bunching, no shifting, no chafing, and best of all, no seam under my seat bones! Very impressed!
My one wish for improvement would be that they came in more colors, including some more neutrals for wearing under light colored pants/breeches.
