    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

REI Stuff Travel Daypack is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome travel Pack I bought this pack specifically for a trip to Europe - I needed a decent size day pack to take with me that was compact when stored in with my luggage and that I didn't have to use as my carry on bag. It easily swallowed all the bits and pieces I needed to have with me when I was exploring cities like Berlin and London including my large SLR camera and lens. Access to things inside was quick and easy and there's a zipped compartment on top of the bag for the things you need most often - non valuable items like pens, sun screen etc It also has two handy mesh pockets to carry water bottles. The build quality is excellent - I'm pretty sure the bag will take a lot of abuse. When in use it was comfortable - not "Where's my pack?...Oh, it's on my back already hahaha" comfortable: you probably don't want to carry too much weight for too long as the straps are on the thin side and will eventually dig into your shoulder. Overall - this will absolutely be my go-to bag for days out, especially around town. It's not a flashy bag that's going to attract attention yet is very well made and keeps your gear safe and dry. Excellent value for money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect day hike pack I like the fact that the pack stuffs into itself to make a small package that doesn't take up much room in a suitcase. It has been serving me well on day hikes. The zippered top holds a lot and the bag closes securely. The only problem has been that water bottles fall out of the mesh pockets. These pockets really need straps or elastic around the top so the contents doesn't fall out when you take off the pack..

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average Pros: LIght and compact. Loved how the bag folded into itself in a handy pouch. 2 side mesh pockets also good for water bottles, umbrellas... Top compartment was roomy as well for frequently accessed items. Cons: Capacity was smaller than I had hoped. Because of it's longish rectangular shape, it was difficult to access items from the middle down when the bag was full. Unless you're carrying soft items or clothing in it, the bag is not comfortable to carry. You really have to pack it carefully/ thoughtfully for it to be comfortable to carry. Lastly, after using it for about 2 weeks straight, the colour of the fabric around the drawstring started to fade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We bought a second one... We've only used this bag a couple of times on hikes and as a day pack while exploring cities, but already know this will be a go-to bag when packing for any trip. It's very lightweight, easy to carry, and the pockets give you quick access to needed items while on the move. I love that it's very compact - I don't feel like I'm lugging some big, stiff bag around that's mostly empty if we happen to not need to carry around much that day. On the flip side, it holds a great deal when you do find yourself needing to carry more than a few items. We bought a second one, as both the husband and I keep reaching for this bag...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I take this everywhere! I carry this pack in my luggage for all my trips, business and personal. Handy for impromptu day hikes, picnics, and even for carrying dirty clothes. I've had close to 20 pounds on drinks and gear and ice for beach trips, and the pack wears great. A removable lightweight belt strap would be handy for heavy loads or jogging, but not necessary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "A great and handy Travel Pack" A great back that packs small, easy to toss in my gear bag to be used for side trips or hiking. It was very handy while camping recently. threw in the essentials and a hooded sweatshirt, with room to spare. Nice features in a roomy pack. I'll take it with me to use a a daypack while camping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Day Pack Realized I don't have a day pack once I left for my backpacking trip and immediately located a REI at Boston and got this and never regretted. Carries my jacket, DSLR with extra lens, water bottle, a notebook, battery pack, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Little Pack! We bought this pack for use during a family vacation to Hawaii, and also for use on dayhikes when backpacking. So far, it was GREAT for our trip to Hawaii. The top pocket was excellent for stowing car keys & cell phone, and the main pouch held towels or spare clothes (depending on activity), and sunscreen. The side pouches carried our water bottles. We used it both hiking, and at the beach. It worked great! Everything stayed dry after a two hour hike in pouring rain. Plus it stowed very small in our luggage. While we haven't yet used it backpacking, we know it is going to work great for carrying snacks, water, fishing gear, etc. for mid-trip dayhikes. Great product - thanks REI!
