After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Comments about Raleigh Port Townsend Bike - 2011:

I have had this bike since March of this year (2011). When I first got the bike I switched out the toe clip pedals for BMX style ones (personal preference). I also bought a Brooks saddle with my REI gear bucks. The bike has been great. I've worked my way up to a 40 mile round trip commute with it. The bike handles rough pavement and compact dirt roads well with its 35mm tires. My only complaint is with the fixed stem. With the seat in a comfortable position I was pretty much kneeing myself in the guts when using the drops. $70.00 later at the LBS I have an adjustable stem and the ride is even better.
