My brother who happens to work for REI gave me this sweater for Christmas. I'd have to say that it's exactly what I need. I live in Indiana and we get frigid cold weather not to mention snow storms in January to early March. I'm always on the go, working, going to school, going to the gym and I walk my dog outside. This sweater is so lightweight and extremely warm! It 26 degrees outside (01/03/12) and all I'm wearing is a long sleeve shirt underneath and flannel pants when i took my dog out amd I wasn't cold. The label states that its made of 80% recycled materials, its breathable, dries quickly (when i go to the gym or get wet in the rain) and versatile. I woukd have to agree. I wear it so much. Time will tell if it will not wear out easily. Great product and I'm glad my brother works for a company who puts a lot of thought into their products. I'll be making more purchase from REI in the future!
