The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Keen Alamosa WP Hiking Shoes - Women's:
I used it to hike 33 miles of the AT from Newfound Gap to I40. We were hiking through snow, ice, and slush at least 20 miles. They were waterproof until I got into slush deeper than the top of the shoe (which obviously is not the shoe's fault). The only issue I've had is that my big toe was bruised pretty bad as a result of the trip. This may be due to the excessive down hill of the trail. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the shoe. Regardless, I'm keeping the shoes and plan to hike more in them this summer.

This is my fourth pair of Keen hiking shoes in this similar style. I keep going back to them because they are the best fit and most comfortable after a few hours of walking.

Comments about Keen Alamosa WP Hiking Shoes - Women's:
I needed a new pair of shoes for my Boy Scout Wood Badge camping weekends. The first weekend it rained...and rained...and rained. Where my patrol mates were complaining of wet feet, I was nice and dry all the way though the weekend. They are a little stiff, but I am an avid sneaker wearer, so I think that between me getting used to them and wearing them a little more, they will be perfect! I highly recommend these!

I love that I can put them on the first day without any breaking necessary, and that they are waterproof. These are my second pair of Keen and I really love them, great shoes.

I bought this shoe in January, and it is already wearing out (it is now April). The soles, outer sole, and inside are wearing down. I am hard on my shoes, but can usually get a year's worth of wear. I purchased these to take the place of my worn out Keen Targhee II Hiking Shoes. Since they are the same price I would recommend the Targhee over the Alamosa. I wear my shoes daily for everyday use and light hiking.

Comments about Keen Alamosa WP Hiking Shoes - Women's:
I wear these shoes every single day. I got the equivalent version 2 years ago, and they have only just started peeling at the sole and the inner wearing out. I have taken these up a number of mountains as they are my favorite day hiking shoes, (when I don't need a whole lot of ankle support).
I wear them all day, everyday, except when it's very hot in the summer (they don't breathe very well) but with thick socks they are fantastic in the winter, as they are water resistant and you only really have to avoid the really deep stuff.
They are great when it's muddy, or lots of puddles, or shallow streams. (or, for chasing waves by the ocean) It's only water resistant up to the laces but for minor adventures that's plenty.
They took a while to break in and were pretty stiff (but not uncomfortable) but after a while they softened up and became my new favorite shoes. They are a bit wide for my foot but this hasn't been an issue with blisters or anything, since they fit well in the heel.
I'm considering buying another pair when these give out completely. I have to say, the durability makes this a pretty dang good deal.

Comments about Keen Alamosa WP Hiking Shoes - Women's:
I walk a good deal, every day, and wanted to replace my old NB hike/day shoes (which REI doesn't carry anymore). These have such good support and comfort, and are NOT soft and squishy. I appreciate that, as it doesn't tire the legs so much. They're a subdued blue and gray — a relief from some of the other lines that think women need loud pink styles. I'm surprised at how much I like them and look forward to putting them on every day.

Bought this shoe because I wanted a light hiker that was waterproof to play disc golf in. I live in the Pacific Northwest and most of our courses are totally waterlogged in the winter. I've had nice DRY feet since buying these. I'm happy to not have to wear my Asolo hiking boots anymore to play in. These shoes are a winner!

Comments about Keen Alamosa WP Hiking Shoes - Women's:
I am a marine mammal trainer so I needed waterproof shoes that would offer good cushioning and traction. I am a 9 and these shoes are an exact 9. They work for walking around on flat and semi-flat surfaces, however, if I was buying these in store for hiking, I would have bought a 9 1/2 to keep my toes from being squashed in the front of the shoe while hiking downhill. I have narrow feet and these are very snug. It works for me, however if you have a wide foot these shoes may be tight on you. I have only worn these shoes for a week at work, but they have been perfect so far. I had hoses and animals splash my shoes all day and my feet stay nice and dry. Also at the end of the day my feet were not killing me like they have in other shoes due to the amazing cushion support. I lift up to 40lbs everyday, and I am constantly kneeling and so far these shoes have really held up! I love these shoes and will deffinalty buy these again. They seem to be made of sturdy materials and Im hoping they will last longer than 3 months unlike my last pair of shoes.

Comments about Keen Alamosa WP Hiking Shoes - Women's:
I've been looking for a good pair of waterproof hiking shoes and these are great. I wore them in sandy, wet conditions the first day and they stayed dry and cleaned up really well after. As most Keens do, these run about a half size small so I bought the 9.5 rather than the 9.
