Keen Alamosa WP Hiking Shoes - Women'sis rated4.25out of5by16.
Rated5out of5byfromGreat ready to go shoe.I use this shoe for daily wear, light hiking and nature walking. It required no break-in and is comfortable to wear even with my delicate feet. Love that I can have rugged shoes without days/weeks of breaking them in - not a single blister or sore spot.

Rated4out of5byfromsnug and dryJust got back from 5 days of non stop rain in the Pacific NW, two of which were in Mt. Rainier, WA. We glimpsed the peak for about 10 minutes but throughout these shoes kept my feet warm, dry and snug. Incredibly light given how substantial they look and the laces never came undone in the soggy weather. A good fit for dayhikes...not sure how well it may do for serious camping and hiking though.

Rated3out of5byfromDecent Water Resistant ShoeNeeded a water resistant shoe to use in a tropical environment. This shoe was pretty comfortable with little break-in time, but it failed miserably on muddy and wet surfaces in terms of traction. I found myself slipping and sliding all around the trail without any grip.

Rated4out of5byfromSolid but runs smallI bought these for early morning hikes with my dog, which are wet and messy. These shoes are perfect for that purpose. They are light with great traction and easy to clean. Also, and most important for me, my feet stay dry and warm. These do run a tad small. I tried on my normal size and the size above and below. I chose my normal size, but after wearing them a couple times I realize I should have gone a half size up. They are fine, but I am not going to be able to wear them with thicker socks as the weather gets colder. It is not the end of the world, but I recommend going up in size even if they feel good in the store.

Rated5out of5byfromI am pleased with this productI wear these shoes as my everyday shoes. I like the cushion of the sole of the shoes and that they are water resistant.

Rated4out of5byfromI would buy these shoes againI am not the most intense hiker out there, but I have never had a great pair of hiking shoes and figured it would be worth the buy. This pair was definitely worth it. I feel comfortable and more importantly I feel stable when out on the trails.

Rated4out of5byfromNot sure about sore toe!I used it to hike 33 miles of the AT from Newfound Gap to I40. We were hiking through snow, ice, and slush at least 20 miles. They were waterproof until I got into slush deeper than the top of the shoe (which obviously is not the shoe's fault). The only issue I've had is that my big toe was bruised pretty bad as a result of the trip. This may be due to the excessive down hill of the trail. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the shoe. Regardless, I'm keeping the shoes and plan to hike more in them this summer.

Rated4out of5byfromGreat walking/Hiking shoeThis is my fourth pair of Keen hiking shoes in this similar style. I keep going back to them because they are the best fit and most comfortable after a few hours of walking.
