The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.
Rated2out of5byPark City BradfromGreat, but...Loved the style, loved the fit, just the right weight, but... The fleece pills a lot. Under the arms and the sides of the jacket where they rub against each other while walking got terribly pilled after just a couple of weeks. I own a lot of ArcTeryx gear and I'm always willing to pay a premium price for premium performance. In this case, $180 seemed too much for what ended up being mediocre quality materials. I returned the jacket. I was disappointed - I otherwise loved the jacket

Rated5out of5byJmac44fromPolar surge defenseThis gift arrived just in time to help me survive the recent invasion of polar climates.
Worn under a good shell it held off the biting cold for short trips.

Rated4out of5bygreyuglyfromLove it! mostly.Love the lightweight and warmth ratio. For sizing, because this can be an issue in the new age of "Medium is the new Large". I'm 6'2" 180lb. I bought the Med. Tried the Large, but swam in it, through the chest. The problem with the Med is that the sleeves are a bit too short, but the chest and torso fit great. This is a great base layer, or even stand alone piece (as long as it's not windy) for warmth and style. Have used it thoroughly over the years, I have loved the softness and warmth, though you do need a shell or layering if it is windy. The one other issue I have had, is the material, especially the underside of the arms, pilling. those little balls of material are a nuisance, and give the piece a "ratty" look. With those two issues aside (fit and pilling) I love this Cardigan and it fulfills it's purpose for providing lightweight with warmth.

Rated5out of5byThorfromWarm and cozy!I bought this fleece to have as a warm layer to put on at the end of a days cycling, while on a bike tour of Iceland.
It stowed away nicely in my panniers, and was great to keep me warm in the cold evenings.
It fits great, looks good, keeps me warm and is comfortable to wear.
I also got it on sale which was good, since it seemed a bit pricy.

Rated4out of5byFlyFishNutfromSuper Comfy -I almost bought another brand "Sweater" like this but glad I held out for this one. It is perfect weight - not too heavy nor too light. This cardigan is so soft I actually wore it this morning while still in my PJs drinking coffee.
I am 5-10 and 180 and I am always in between sizes. I bought the large and it seems just a tad longer and slightly boxy, but not too bad. I have this problem often with other manufactures.
I like the Arc'teryx finished the hem of the cuffs and I like the look of the logo on the sleeve (not too brash). And the reinforced pockets are nice.
- Haven't had this long enough to see if it piles, so I will update this review after I've worn it a bit.
Highly recommend - it's a solid garment. I'm sure it will serve me well in the outdoors.

Rated5out of5bySnohomish Martyfromexpensive and you get what you paid forI rarely splurge for such an expensive garment. I'm glad I did. It not only fits very well, which is rare for someone 6'4" tall, but it is super warm for its thickness. I can wear it like a coat, even though it's thin like a light jacket. Also, it's rather casually elegant looking, so that I can wear it to parties and around town without looking either thread bare poor or snooty rich. Also, it's so well made that I fully expect it last a long, long time. No threads are coming out and it looks new, even though I've been wearing it daily for months now. I would definitely get another one!

Rated4out of5byMadtowndavefromComfortable and looks greatI've worn this about every day for a month. It has not been washed. I have 2 complaints. The sleeves seem a little long, and the material is already starting to become pilly/ produce fuzz balls. Other than that, it's a great item. It is a little cold in my office, and I bought this to wear like a cardigan.
