Fabric breaks down QUICKLY when being chafed by a backpack strap. I had noticeable damage after just 1.5 hrs of hiking with a 15 # pack. Greak running shirt, not great hiking shirt.

I've found my new favorite running shirt! It fits like a dream. I typically wear an L but got an XL (tried it on in the store) because I like a loser fit--not clinging. The sleeves aren't too short and I love the V-neck. The seams are visually slimming (or so my friend who ran behind me told me). I love the longer length, too. I can wear my hydration belt over it and not worry about my shirt becoming untucked and the belt rubbing on me. I do sweat on my chest/back a lot and this didn't stick to my skin like other quick-dry fabrics tend to do on me. I got this in the green and love it. I'm back online to get more!

I have this shirt in every color, and wear every morning during my long runs and weight lifting. I am an XS (5'2" 120lbs) and love the way this fits. The sleeves aren't too tight or restrictive (a problem I typically have) and I love the way it's contoured to fit a woman's curves.
I imagine it's effective at wicking and drying a small to moderate amount of sweat, but I'm a very sweaty person, so I saturate this before it can dry. Unlike many other shirts, however, it stays light and comfortable when wet.

I bought one of these in the store, and it wore and washed so well that I bought two more online. I normally wear very fitted tanks for the gym and dislike sleeves or looser fits. But this shirt was an exception. Although it is not tight, the seaming and asymmetrical hem do give it a body skimming fit, shaped to the contours of your curves without being snug. Yes, the hem is lower in the front/back and higher along the hips, but I find this to be a flattering cut, as well as functional -- it doesn't catch, pull, or bunch up at your hips when doing multi-directional movements. I wear it for resistance training and playing squash. The fabric is super light, wicks away sweat, and stays cool - like other said, it won't cling even when you've soaked it through. Really great value for the price.
I think it runs a tiny bit big. I am 5'2, 115 lbs and I got this in XS (in other athletic brands I usually wear a Small in tops due to being fuller in the bust). Even in the XS, it is not tight in the chest, shoulders, or sleeves.

I really love these shirts! I'm glad I tried it on in store, because they do seem to run a little large, I'm usually a medium but the small was a better fit. The other reviewer is correct in that it isn't a form-fitting top, but that wasn't what I was looking for. Still, I think they are very flattering! As someone who is trying to replace her cotton tees with more moisture-wicking tops, I'm really glad I found these (especially for the price!) and am buying them in several colors!

For anyone who has a bit of a belly or just likes a top that fits well (not super snug or clingy) while working out, then this is the perfect top! I bought it several months ago as a true XL and it fit from the shoulders and arms, through the chest and stomach perfectly. The lightweight material and super cute look makes me want to go to the gym so I can wear it. I am buying another one in a smaller size now that I have lost weight!

I have worn this shirt several times and I'm heading to REI today to return it. I find the fit too short and the fabric too stretchy. When I run, the shirt feels like it bouncing around because of the weight of the fabric and the amount of stretch. Spend the extra $ and get the Nike Miler shirt!

I am 5'10" about 240lbs (and a larger chest) so I have a hard time finding shirts that make it past my chest with fabric to spare. This shirt is great. The length is perfect, just past my hips, and I love the decal on the side. The seam placement is a little different but it doesn't bother me at all. I just wish the V-neck was a little deeper, a non-issue. Shoulder area is a little more snug, but I like that. The fabric is stretchy enough that it allows for ample movement.

I have been wearing these REI shirts for about a year and half and always loved them, until this new 'redesign'. The upper chest, shoulder and arms were just fine. But, the lower area of the shirt did seem to have extra material but what got me was they put in all of these fancy curvey seams that the back of the shirt bunched horribly and now the bottom hem of the shirt is one of those where it comes up higher at the hip (so its not like a regular t-shirt.)

I love the color and styling of this shirt. I was however disappointed by the fit. The arms and chest fit great, but the waist was somewhat baggy and poofy. I ordered the size small and did not like how much extra material there was at the bottom. Some people may like this but I like by tops to be a bit more tapered at the bottom. I ordered a small and will be returning it. I'm afraid if I go with an XS the chest will be too small.
