Comments about Smith Skullcandy Twin-Tip LINK Audio Kit:
Sound quality very marginal. Bass pretty non-existent. The Giro phone pads I had with my 2003 helmet blow these away, unfortunately thy're not made any more.

Comments about Smith Skullcandy Twin-Tip LINK Audio Kit:
Bought for use with the Smith Vantage helmet (excellent helmet). I use an iphone 4g. First, the microphone is useless. I have confirmed this with other online reviews as well. Second, the twin tips do not work well. I only need a single tip as my ipod/phone are the same. However, one tip will allow me to adjust the volume but that is it (the click button will not play/pause/fast forward, etc.). If I use the other tip, I can can access the click button features but not adjust the volume. I tried this on an ishufle, two different iphones (3 and 4th gen) and a newer ipod... all with the same results. Add to this only average sound quality and this equals the fact that I am returning it ASAP to REI.

Comments about Smith Skullcandy Twin-Tip LINK Audio Kit:
I use these both as a race coach and a ski patroler. I have an android phone (Incred. 2)and plug the other into my patrol/coaches radio. I'm able to accept phone calls, adjust volume, hear radio calls, listen to music, etc. They are very functional and the audio is decent. I would and have recommended these and they have worked well for those skiers as well.
