I bought these for my Mt. Rainier summit attempt and was surprised that they weren't that warm. I still had to wear 2 pairs of socks to get my feet warm. Same at home, I still need to wear warm socks to get my feet warm in these.

In addition, they do not have a good grip on the bottom so they are slippery if you're not on a good surface. There is very little support in the sole, feels like a thin cardboard on the bottom. I think if the soles were just slightly thicker and had a better grip that they would be much warmer, more comfortable and safer to wear on multiple surfaces.

These booties feel very warm, but the built-in elastic at the ankle was just too tight for me. I tried them in both medium and large, I usually wear a 10. The elastic dug in and felt like if I kept them on much longer it would cut off circulation. That was a deal-breaker for me.

My feet are always extremely cold and these are the warmest slippers I have found. They are very toasty and comfortable. The only cons are that the bottom soles wear out each season and are not super durable. I only wear inside, so I don't think I should need to replace each season. Also, I received the men's version last year (I have size 11 in women's and they were bought as a gift) and the cording that is used to tighten slipper, is too tight around the ankle (without tightening) and leaves a mark each time I wear them. I don't recall there being a problem with the previous year's version. I've bought similar styles from LLBean and Restoration Hardware in years past, and these are by far the warmest.

These slippers are the warmest slippers I have ever owned! I love them! My feet are always cold and when I wear these slippers, my feet are warm and toasty. The only thing I would improve are a thicker sole that lasts me a bit longer or a sole that allows you to go outside. I will continue to buy these for myself and as gifts.

I love these slippers. They were everything I've been looking for, but the soles totally disintegrated after about 2 months. I wore them around the house all the time. I don't drag or shuffle my feet but the front has completely worn through and the feathers are coming out. The rear is about to meet the same fate.

I'm disappointed because the rest of the slippers seem to be quite durable and warm. I wish I could give them a better review since I think down slippers are the best thing invented since sliced bread.

I think a quick redesign is in order.

I bought these because my feet are always freezing cold. Putting on socks doesn't work. I toss these on when I get home from work and my feet are roasty toasty within the hour -- sometimes they get too warm and I need to take them off for a bit. No socks required. They're great for a trip to the mailbox or to take the dog around the block but they are not made to wear around outside; they're slippers. I love them and am planning to buy a pair now for my mom. One note -- I wear a size 9 in shoes so I bought these in L and they're a bit big. I would size down a little bit.
