A couple months ago I bought one of these for my key ring (car and house keys). From the beginning it wasn't very reliable. Like one reviewer said, it needed micro-adjusting. The bigger problem for me was that it kept coming apart. For example, more than once I happened to notice the battery and other parts on the car mat under my feet. A couple days ago, I noticed that the bulb/battery are missing. Unfortunately this time I have no idea where they are.

Based on the other reviews, I must be the exception, but this light did not live up to my expectations.

As far as feel, size, purpose, it is great (the reason why i purchased it in the first place). When I took it out of the package however, different story. I turned it on and the light was very dim and unless you held it about an inch from something, it was worthless. My first thought was maybe the batteries were low; however, upon twisting the bezel (to turn it on) back and forth, it finally came on, and was very bright and was what i was looking for. However, every time i tried to turn it on again, it would turn on dim, and I would have to micro-adjust it until the full beam came on. If you need a light source, you should not have to fiddle around with adjusting it (I started to ask myself, should I use duct tape on this???).

Nice design, feel, look, and concept, but when it came to actually working, it was sketchy. I'm going to return it ASAP.

Wow! My partner has a back injury and I am always on the lookout for lightweight useful gear that she can pack in herself. I honestly thought I was buying another dim little keychain reading light. Oh my gosh, this little light has a really powerful beam and weighs almost nothing! I recently took it on a 20 mile hike and was very pleasantly surprised with how well it worked as a proper flashlight. It is not a focused beam like some other flashlights, but it's ambient beam reached easily 20-30 feet. It has a little keychain clasp on it which I used to hang it from the loop at the top of my tent. Amazing! I am going back to buy one for myself.

We love these lights. They are super bright. They are so light weight and compact. They make great back up lights when hiking but they are also so convenient to carry on a key chain for everyday use.

The product was well designed, but unfortunately it costs more than the flashlight is worth to replace the batteries. Instead of using a standard off the shelf hearing aid battery, it uses an expensive battery that costs about $5 each. (I went to a local pharmacy and looked it up). If you go online you can get the batteries cheap, but who has time to do that?

I had been looking for a light of this size to carry on my keys. i dont like extra bulk, and hadn't been able to find a light of this size till today.
this small single LED light is perfect for keys or as advertised backpack. i dont even know its there till i need it. and is far brighter than other single LED lights i have bought in the past

I bought this to tack on to my keychain as a safety precaution for every day use. It turned out to also be a great back-up to my headlamps on hiking and camping trips. It is tiny and light, and bright enough. This lamp has even come in handy on numerous occasions when I had to look in dark places for things that were dropped or rolled away. People are always impressed at how convenient it is to have something like this handy, and it gives an extra level of reassurance on camping trips and hikes.
