Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket - Women's:
It suddenly got very warm here so I haven't had a lot of opportunity to wear this jacket, but I love how light weight and breathable it is. I particularly like this non-down option for hiking and other aerobic activity and prefer the less poofy, more fitted, look that the Nano gives. Great for layering for warmth, or to wear alone in moderate temps. I look forward to using it extensively while doing the Yosemite High Camps this year.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket - Women's:
The various nanos are becoming "de rigeur" among the outdoors folks where I live. The product works well for what it was designed for: the lightweight construction is both a pro and a con for this jacket. If you need heavy construction, this is not the jacket for you.
Sizing is normal Patagonia. Unfortunately so are the colors. I wish that Patagonia would stop using such absolutely HORRIBLE colors in its women's products. I'm getting tired of buying everything in black because it's the only color I can stand. One reason that I bought this product is that it at least comes in gray. Even then the lining is plum - Yuck! At least I don't have to look at it once I have it on.

I have the mens nano-puff jacket and use it for ski touring (skinning). I bought this jacket for my wife for the same use. She absolutely loves it. We both highly recommend this jacket.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket - Women's:
This jacket is a very versatile piece. It is very warm, yet lightweight and packs easily. It can act as a midlayer in frigid temps or as an outer layer on cool evenings. My only complaint is that the arms are long (about 4 inches too long and I am of average height), but this is true of many patagonia jackets.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket - Women's:
Great jacket. Wear it under a shell or raincoat in extreme cold. Perfect warmth on a fall camping trip to Shenandoah Nat'l Park. Wear it as a 'sweater' in my cubicle on winter days when they run the AC!
Con - construction problem -- the waffle stitching unraveled at the cuffs and started creeping up the sleeve. REI exchanged it...I hope it doesn't happen on my 2nd.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket - Women's:
Bought this on sale--always great--and love the super light weight. Will make a great fall jacket locally and good layering for cold weather and visits to the mountains in winter. Wanted to take on an African trip, but don't think the hot pink will work!

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket - Women's:
I researched this product to death before actually buying it. (I even had a very long telephone conversation with a guy at Patagonia.) I wanted a jacket to wear snowshoeing & hiking in cold weather which was not heavy or bulky, did not cause me to over-heat, and was easy to pack. I also wanted a jacket to take along snowmobiling just in case I got cold on the really cold days. I wanted something that did not take up much room, but did a good job when needed and justified the price.
The nano does all of the above and then some. I wore it snowshoeing with just a heavier wicking layer underneath in the Porkies, in Sylvania, and along the North Country Trail. I put it under my snowmobile suit on the really cold days while in Copper Harbor MI. I wore it in the car while traveling around the Michigan UP. I wore it in my sleeping bag while sleeping in a snow shelter during a BOW winter survival class in upper Wisconsin. It worked great every single time.
HOWEVER, I quickly discovered that if I was not active, the jacket was not enough to keep me warm. So take along another layer in your pack to put on if you stop to rest, snack, etc.
The complaints about the stitching/quilting being fragile were true. I seemed to snag the stitching on the sleeves several times. So be careful about what you rub up against.
I found the pockets on the jacket (which apparently are not included in the pullover verstion) to be very helpful.
The entire jacket stuffs into one of its pockets & is about the size of a clutch purse or cosmetic bag. Great to throw into a pack to take along just in case.
When it arrived from REI I thought it was too thin to do the job. But the nano never failed to deliver as long as I was moving while wearing it. It was well worth the price, and I plan to use it for many years to come.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket - Women's:
I love this jacket. It is great for packing in my panniers when bike touring or XC skiing. The fit is very true. I got a Large and the sleeve length was exceptional.
Patagonia is true to sizing unlike Columbia Sportswear that sometimes you have to size up.
I have no issues with this at all.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket - Women's:
This Nano Puff jacket is super for layering. Light, compact, and packable. Packed this in my daypack on the plane and had lots of room still in my bag for other things.
Layered this underneath a rain jacket and it was not bulky, but kept me warm. Love the color Mango (which is orange). One can wear this as a light jacket on cool days below 6o degrees.
