Finally, a down jacket that doesn't make you look like a micheline man. I've been on the lookout for a down jacket like this for years after having suffered my huge michelin man mountain hardware jacket. This might be a tad less warm than the standard bulky down jacket, kind of like the patagonia down sweater, but much more attractive and better fitting for us slim, petite folk (5'1'').

This is my perfect jacket. Great quality. I am 5'3" and weigh 105lbs, I needed the S, XS was restricting in the arms/waist. This jacket is super comfortable, light-weight, and versatile. It is comfortable to drive in, and keeps you warm when you have to get out of the car. It was not quite warm enough when the temps were 30 and below with winds. Perfect jacket if you have kids and a bag to carry. It's very stylish, I received TONS of compliments (I have the black).

This jacket is phenomenal. It is versatile & comes in great colors. I got it originally to wear underneath a patagonia triple goretex shell (awesome purchase also, by the way) for an underlayer for skiing. Since, I have used it for all sorts of occasions- By itself it is perfect for that cold dry day (40 degrees-ish) and great for colder weather when paired with a shell. Stylish enough to wear over work clothes but functional enough to use for outdoor activities.

Bought this jacket because we were traveling from a very cold place to a very warm place and didn't want to have to deal with a heavy big coat while on vacation. This was great as once we got to our destination I was able to squish-it into a small ball and keep it out of the way. Upon our return home - it provided the warmth I needed on a chilly chilly night. Now I use it for when I go to the gym as it doesn't occupy my whole locker.
Wish it had a 2-way zipper -- at the base it is quite tight around my hips - however, the next size up was way too big in the chest and arms.

I am 5'4", weigh 98lbs, and purchased the small, but should have purchased the xsmall for all you petite women out there wondering about size. This jacket is incredible! I wore it to town on first day and received two compliments about the color (I have the dark violet). It is very warm, durable, and windproof. I can't wait to hike in it. Picked this up in the Member's Attic for next to nothing and it has quickly become my Very Favorite Jacket. It's like wearing a cloud - light, comfortable, nice-looking. It's warm when it needs to be, but incredibly comfortable in all kinds of temperatures. It packs down into its own pocket for traveling so it's a real space-saver, one-jacket-fits-all-adventures.

I LOVE this jacket! I bought it to replace my old 3-in-1 ski coat, of which I mostly just wore the liner and only wore the shell for skiing. I did quite a bit of shopping around, and this was definitely the best buy. It's a great jacket, very warm without being bulky, weather resistant, and wind resistant. I wear it pretty much every day just to work. But I also wore it skiing between a base layer and a rain shell and it was perfect. It's also a nice length - I have a normal torso, but most women's jackets were too short for me; they looked good, but as soon as I tried to do something (like lift my arms) it was too short. I wanted a jacket I could also go climbing/hiking in, and this one fits the bill. It loses a few feathers through the seams every now and then, but that's down. Fabulous jacket - highly recommended!
