I purchased 2 pair thinking they would be of the same quality as my previous REI fleece pants and they are not nearly as warm. I knew as soon as I opened the package and realized there were 2 pair inside and felt the quality and realized my one original pair was the same size folded as the 2 new pair. I tested them this morning in the 37 degree temperatures and was so disappointed. I walked back in and put my trusty old ones back on for my morning walk. We don't have sustained temperatures that are that cold but I need them for when the temperatures drop below 40. I wash and wear my original pair every night and wear them again the next day. They have held up so well and I was afraid that they would one day disintegrate so I thought I should order an additional 2 pair. What a shame that the quality is now so different and so poor.

These pants seem really warm when I had them on but I had to send them back because they were so short. I'm 5'6 and the pants just covered my ankles. They might be ok tucked into boots.

I love these pants although, yes, the quality has changed since now they are not made in Canada anymore. BUT, that being said, these pants are still a good buy. I wear them with coveralls in the HAIL and work outdoors as an environmentalist. Getting rid of non-native plants so we all can enjoy nature as it should be!! Anyways, love the pants still.

I got these fleece pants with the intent of using them both as casual wear and as a mid-layer during backpacking. I've loved them for both. They are very comfortable and warm as a insulating layer both on the trail and at home. The only downside is that they "softness" of the pants make them a little less durable, but as long as your not climbing trees - you'll be fine!

I wore these doing a research program on a glacier, and loved them! They were my lounge/pajama pants and were very warm, and comfortable, and dried quickly when wet. I don't really have any complaints.. They were a smidge- like my socks were always showing which is probably a fashion no-no, but who cares when you're in the backcountry!

I use for race walking or hiking in 40 degree weather. Lightweight enough and roomy but not baggy. 5'9", 135 lbs, medium regular fits almost perfectly. Waist to crotch length could be a tad longer, but not a problem. I want another pair.

Great for us hobby farmers - with coveralls over these you will never get cold although I've been outside at zero degrees and never felt cold. Great quality - pockets do not make these pants bulky like other brands. 100% recommend these for warmth, comfort and coziness at home.
