Bought these gloves to stay warm this winter while camping, fishing and perfoming other recreational sports outdoors. These gloves fit the bill perfectly. They kept me warm in single digits with wind and are flexible enough to fish in in. The best gloves I have owned to date.

Hey Folks!
In the tradition of gather-around-the-hearth REI reviews, here we go!

Since 2006 I had this pair of amazing, sleek warm, low profile Atomic ski gloves.... then i lost one of the gloves on the bus the other day. These are a great replacement- bulkier, but a bit warmer and better features- Can answers calls from an iphone without taking the gloves off (maybe even type if you are careful). I have never taken them on an expedition to Alaska or tested the leather on the palm during a trek to Antarctica, but I can say that the elastic cinch above the wrist is well designed and easy to use- pull the gray to tighten, pull the black to loosen. Not the warmest (that award would go to the goretex hotfingers mittens in my truck) but I dont need that for every day use. I think these will be great for bike commuting in the winter as well!
