Came exactly as expected for the packaging and what was on view in the store. Had delivery problems though.

Service and delivery comments:

I was extremely disappointed with the delivery of the product. It was my first time ordering an items as opposed to "in store purchase" and I went there over and over and it wasn't until the 3rd time that someone told me that I would receive an email. It came far later than the expected date, and I would have been fine if someone had told me about the email notification to start with. When I did receive the email I stood in the store for over 20 minutes as they couldn't find it right away. It was not in the store room. As it turned out it was directly behind the cashier. I hope that someone will correct the issue of letting someone know that they will get an email when it arrives!

First off I'd like to say to those who wrote negative comments about temp and cleaning problems.....spare us PLEASE. This thing is great. The Propane tanks (16.4oz) can be bought just about anywhere (hardware store) from $2.99-3.99. ea. Cleaning is easy, and made easier by using your head and applying a sheet of tinfoil (poke a hole for drainage)under the grill portion (daaaah!). Easy instructions, and I was up and cooking in less than 3 minutes. Heating control? What, you think this is a $500 home gas stove with all the fixings? It turns on and off with ease, with slight variations in temp. Just put your food on, pay attention, and your eating in no time. Have fun and enjoy a great stove!

I really like coleman products. I have a coleman cooler from the 70's and still in decent shape.
This grill is versatile and you can cook a dinner for 5 in under 45 mins. That's a pound of chicken cutlets and macaroni and cheese. Lightweight and easy to light. The only thing that I don't like is that the side wind guards do not stay secured. In windy conditions (Hither Hills Camping) the wind guards kept coming free from the lid. Other then that this is a really good product.

I bought this for family camping trips. It is ok to clean and to take care of though the Electric Igniter does not work. The equipment it self seems very flimsy. It boiled water quickly and heated food great. I use it only for family car camping.

I needed a second camp stove for a Scouting campout. When I saw this particular stove, I thought the grill would be good for grilling meats (burgeres, hot dogs, sausages) and veggies and save me from using another pan.

Taking the stove out of the box, the first thing i noticed was the weight of this thing (heavy!). Closer inspection I was pleased to see quality construction and from a functional standpoint, smoothe turning dials. The instant light feature worked ok. I say that because as you push the igniter, the entire stove will move back. I have to hold the stove with one hand and push the igniter with the over.

In an actual cooking scenario, both the sides worked really well. The dials turn nicely. This is a powerful stove. However, the grill tends to run hot, so if cooking meats directly on the grill, keep heat at a low temp. I would have liked to see a flat griddle option to be able to cook eggs, bacon, and pancakes.

Cleaning is a pain. I end up lining the bottom of the grill with foil to not have to spend so much time cleaning the stove.

All in all, it's a really good stove. It has helped me when camping with larger groups. The negatives I mentioned are minor and after a few uses, you learn to deal with it.

Bought this stove for camping purposes and the possible power outages. Cooked some steaks on the grill while boiling rice on the stove. The insta- start lights the first time - no constant clicking. The gas flow is very smooth and produces plenty of heat. The rice boiled in no time. When the flame is low it keeps a steady flame and has not flickered out. The grill evenly cooked the steaks and left nice grill lines on the meat for a good looking steak. Clean up was easy for both the grill and the catch basin. I would recommend for cooking purposes in the field to line the catch basin will aluminum foil so it's easy clean when leaving. The catch cup easily removes and also cleans easy. The grill has a non-stick surface that almost came clean using hot water only. I give it 5 stars.

I had one of these stoves for at least 10 years. I had to replace 1 componant in that time. Took it for a weekend soccer trip and for some reason the grill part had stopped working. Tried to fix but couldn't so it's going bye-bye.
Only 2 things I didn't like about this grill (well 3 now) 1) When I bought it was more than half what it's being sold for now.2) When grilling it would be nice to have some sort of top to cover the food especially when it's windy as the sides don't really do a whole lot. I believe this would also make it more efficient. I used tinfoil and it melted the grate! 3) It's more like a fryer/ grill as it doesn't really spread the flame very well so all cooking has to be done in the center.
Otherwise this grill has served me well on many a car camping trips over the years.

I bought this camp stove to bring along on my Jeep adventures. The grill portion seemed awesome as a few staples of trail food are burgers and hot dogs. It is .... with a few caveats

I've found the temperature has two settings. Off and High. Makes cooking things a bit tricky.

The grill is VERY difficult to clean. I've scrubbed and scrubbed and can't get the silver part under the grill clean. I've given up at this point.

As a few other reviewers stated the push button starter function is great however if you're not holding the grill down the grill will actually move backwards before the push button start is pressed.

If I still had the box I would definitely be taking this grill back.

I chose this because I didn't want to bring separate stove and a grill for car camping. Just used this recent purchase for a 6 night trip in the White Mountains for our family of 4. Used it each day for dinner, most breakfasts and boiled water for tea/coffee each afternoon and didn't finish 3 bottles of propane. Loved the instastart even though you have to hold the stove at the same time to push. The grill side was slightly more tempermental to ignite but it worked. Used this to grill steak kebabs, chicken breasts, hot dogs, burgers, sausages for dinner while cooking rice or veggies at the same time. Boiling water for coffee or tea was very fast. Even boiled water for a pound of pasta in a reasonable time. The grill surface washed up easily. Used foil under the grill side and changed it each day. Yes, the propane bottle attachment was awkward. This stove/grill combo was a great purchase for our family.

Little bulky but does the trick while camping. Doesn't come with a carry case and needs one desperately. Apparently Coleman makes one but the reviews say it does not fit well. Other than being a little bulky to transport it cooks very well and has enough power to boil water, cook pancakes, burgers, etc. in short order.
