This is a great trailer for your precious pup. I added extra padding to the floor only because I'm a crazy dog mama and wanted my pooch to be extra comfortable. I like how you can unzip the windows to have a light screen. My pooch gets claustrophobic so I would have preferred an option to be able to unzip the window itself to let her stick her head out. My adaptation is to just roll up the front of the cover to let her have full visibility and feel the air on her face. She loves it this way, so for her it's great, which is what matters most!

Generally well build and designed. It's a bit pricier than other options one can find on web, particularly when you add in $30 shipping supplement, but I used 20% off coupon. It does fold really easily/take up less space than I expected. Only complaints to date:

-- Very misleading/poorly written manual. It's pretty intuitive, but refers to a flashing light being included, which is not. I had to learn that thru REI rep.
-- There's no harness for keeping dog in, which I understand due to different size dogs. I actually use a car harness I have, but had to jury rig something to a "D" ring inside the trailer. It's a plastic D ring, so I'm a bit concerned about my dog snapping it if he decides to leap out for some reason (unlikely, but an ounce of prevention...

This is perfect in every way except for 1 thing. The placement of the tires are too far back which places a significant load on the hitch & bike. Thus, if your dog is in the front where my dog rides, he is not on top of the tires whatsoever. Major oversight!!! I have written the company-waiting for a response, as of 04-2011.
