The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Hydration Belt - 21 oz.:
Was excited to give this model a good test-drive --- note, it's my first hydration belt, but a lot of research was done to find the ideal belt. Researched and tried-on Nathan belts, Fuelbelts/Helium and of course Amphipod. It came down to this RunLite AirStretch 2 and the Profile-Lite 32 both by Amphipod. I opted for the RunLite version and sadly was disappointed. The first time I stepped off a sidewalk while running (7-8 min/mile pace -- so moving along pretty good), I lost both bottles - they just popped off ... retrieved them, snapped 'em back on and continued my run - the very next time I stepped off a curb/sidewalk, I lost one bottle to the pavement. Then it happened again about all in less than 1 mile of using them. The last time, I jumped up quickly on a slightly higher sidewalk (say 8-10 inches) and in the jolt of stepping UP, both bottle popped off and this time one landed on the cap and the plastic cracked -- so it leaked for the next 7-8 miles while I held both bottles in my hands because I got tired of picking them up off the ground. Took it back to REI [...]and got the one I should have bought originally -- Profile-Lite 32! This one totally rocks! Reviewed it as well - 2 thumbs up!Note - a friend who does have the RunLite AirStretch 2 and loves it told me (after I took it back) that he just tighted the clips a little to hold the bottles tighter and hasn't had problems since. I never tried that because I was concerned the clips would not stay well enough and I was irritated already by them almost randomly popping up anytime I stepped down from a sidewalk or sometimes stepped up. So, it might have worked to squeeze the clips in together more as it did for my friend.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Hydration Belt - 21 oz.:
I bought this item on a business trip to ABQ, NM and have used it almost every weekend for 9 months. Running (street or trail) and hiking have been my main uses and I would recommend this to those that don't like a camelback or hand bottles on their runs. I also had a problem with the bottles popping off during trail runs that required steep climbs/descents. I fixed the problem by just adjusting the bottle holders to fit the bottles long ways across the belt... no more dropped bottles! And no leaks as long as the caps are tight and nipples closed! I also adjusted how I wear the belt to reduce belt bounce with the larger bottles (i have 8oz & 10oz bottles for max 4 bottles on hikes). I use the mesh elastic pocket for a hand towel for the warm weather here in San Antonio (home). The pocket is ok, it could have more elastic/expandability for keys and jel's but Amphipod sells this separately if you have to have one... I make do without it. The belt is also handy for my ipod and anything else I need to attach. The velcro waist is easy to adjust and comfortable with no( 8D ) or multiple layers of clothing. Get your Run On!!!

Too bulky for running. Would go with the fuel belt if you are considering it for this use.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Hydration Belt - 21 oz.:
I read a few reviews on the REI website before buying this belt but I thought that maybe the other reviewers just had a bad experience, maybe this was just an isolated thing.
I went to REI with the intentions of getting a good looking, comfortable, and good quality running belt. I tried on a couple but really liked the RunLite AirStretch 2 so I went against what I read and bought. Mistake.
I'm training for a marathon and are into some long runs and really need to stay hydrated in the high desert, there are no water stations when training so you need to bring your own water. Two miles into an 18 mile run, my first with this belt, one of the water bottles came out and cracked, leaving me with 16 miles of high desert running with 1/2 the water I planned on.
I really wanted this belt to work and for the reviewers to be wrong but they're right. The belt is a no go. I'm taking the belt back first thing Monday.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Hydration Belt - 21 oz.:
What I did like: I liked that fact the product had two smaller bottles with lots of ability to add on modules. The bottles were easy to fill with ice, etc.
What I didn't like: Once you filled the bottles and went for a run I am not sure where along my 5 mile run that I lost the bottle but it released without effort and I know I had snapped it in properly. It was a concern initially however when I purchased it I was told that shouldn't happen.
The belt did bounce around a bit and because the bottles could be slid around I had to adjust them.
Considering the replacement bottles are $12-$14 a piece I wouldn't recommend this unless you like to provide free hydration and equipment to people that you pass on the trails or roads.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Hydration Belt - 21 oz.:
I wear this belt on my training runs for the 2011 MCM. I have worn it on three runs so far (5, 5 & 10 miles) and I have had no issues with losing bottles or excessive bouncing. I did adjust the bottles to sit horizontally and tightened up the brackets as recommended by other reviewers. Compared to my Camelback it has no bouncing. The belt is very comfortable and the velcro secures it snuggly; I almost forget it's there during the run. I added an extra pouch to the front to hold my iPod and some Honey Stinger Energy Chews (the pouch on the back is too hard to reach during the run). I also bought a couple of extra water bottles to add to the belt for when the training runs start getting longer. Another benefit of this belt is ability to adjust the position/add components to the belt. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend this product.

Great little pack. I use it for trail running all the time and have never had trouble with the bottles coming out. Perhaps the others were defective (or simply user error).
Have tried others, this is simply the most comfortable & effective.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Hydration Belt - 21 oz.:
The most comfortable belt I've used. I've had just about every runners bottle belt from different brands. This one is by far the most comfortable. I think the other reviews could be putting the bottles in backwards or don't know to click the bottles in place. This is the only brand I've found that allows the bottles to be placed where you want them instead of just where the holsters are sewn to the belt. I've logged many miles with this belt, trained for a marathon run a marathon. Takes a little to get used to clicking in the bottles right but once you figure this out it's easy. But you have to make sure the bottle are actually clicked into the holders. Great to have to water when you need it and carry it very comfortably.
