by fromPerfect for my setup This is a seriously awesome little product. I love it! I spent a lot of time researching cook kits, and I have a large Esbit cook kit, but I wanted something smaller for myself to go on backpacking trips. This was definitely the right choice. It's light, durable, smart design, and it heats water in an instant. I also really love the coffee cup! The only complaint that I have is that the protective rubber coating on the handles melts REALLY easy over a fire. I might get heat proof tape to wrap on it.

by fromanodized exterior resists burned on soot I bought this cook set to replace an aluminum kettle that was more than 25 years old and was covered with soot that had been baked on from years of hard use. I bought the minimalist set in the spring and I plan to use them both as a large set, and saving the extra bowls and the foon for occasions when breakage may occur.

by fromAlmost perfect I took this kit backpacking over the weekend and it worked great for boiling water for our dehydrated meals and for our morning coffee. My only complaint is that the kettle handle insulation does not withstand the heat produced from backpacking stoves well and tends to melt if you use high heat or if the wind blows the flames up the side of the kettle.

by fromLove the Halulite Ketalist I was first turned on to this kettle by the spout in the front making it easier to pour water while making coffee or rehydrating food. I works perfectly with my small alcohol stove and boils quickly. I've put a good amount of water through this little guy and it shows very small signs of use. Cleans up well and can handle almost anything you throw at it. I myself have had no problems with the isolation on the handles melting but my brother was not so lucky. Just beware of flames reaching the top of your kettle and you should be fine. One of my favorite pieces of gear by far.

by fromNice little set It's a great little set. I bought it on a whim. I have a larger, garage sale kettle and it's good enough for car camping. This one is for hiking. Out of the box, I washed it and put it on my DIY Bushbuddy. Then I tried it out on my DIY alcohol stove. It worked great on both. My only complaint is that the cord lock on the stuff sack broke right away. As I pressed it and slid it open, a little piece of plastic popped out. No fixing it. Luckily I have extras and put a real on on it. [...] No harm, no foul. They're going for UL, I understand. I also noticed that the slots where the handle "snaps in position" aren't quite big enough for it to lock into place. I will fix that with a needle file at the shop. All in all, it's a great product!

by fromNice little set! I first saw this product while backpacking with a friend, and it seemed to work pretty well for him. Well, during a failed attempt at hanging the bear bag, the whole bag (15 Lb?) fell about 15 feet. It seemed like there was a very hard metal object (not part of the teapot/set)that cut through some of the food bags, and ended up nailing the teapot. The teapot had a gnarly dent but was fine, the measuring bowl was fine, but the other bowl got a small crack in it. But honestly who needs 2 bowls anyways. He loaned it to me for a weekend recently, and it worked awesome with my fancy feast can stove. The flames did burn the plastic on the handle a little bit, that and the dent gives it a lot of character while still working just fine. Stove fits inside teapot/bowl too. Pretty much the only thing I will use from now on.

by fromGreat! Does a great job. I bought a small cork for the spout at the hardware store so I can fill it to the brim without spilling.
